Loved the rooms and scenery

Really good location, just 2km outside of Phong Nha bus station with free pickup to the homestay. Host was very informative on arrival and went above and beyond to show us all of the activities to do in Phong Nha. Food was great, very understanding of my girlfriend having a gluten allergy. Animals / dogs / puppies was an added bonus. Free bicycle rental.

Could have some desserts on the food menu :)

Firstly Tina the host is fantastic. She is funny, energetic, attentive, always happy and willing to help. Her staff were really lovely. The food was clean and yummy. We tried almost everything on the menu. This property made our trip in Phong Nha. There was an area with very friendly and affectionate farm animals. Goats, sheep, a young cow and buffalo, young pigs, and a couple mumma pigs with the new babies, ducks chickens and rabbits. Then amongst the main area there are dogs, fresh puppies, kittens and cats. It was a real treat. The dogs were so adorable they would tag along with us when we would go for walks into the paddock. They have scooters for rent and free bicycles to borrow. Our kids did not want to leave..

The rooms, while spacious are basic. But you while find that everywhere in Phong Nha is the same. I would suggest checking your windows/sliding doors after the cleaners have been. Close them to stop any mosquitoes. They tend to leave them open after they have been..

This is a western / Vietnamese owned place about eight minutes motorbike ride away from the main tourist strip in a beautiful location surrounded by nature. I had two rooms, the first was very basic, but I had food poisoning so I upgraded to a much nicer room. The general facilities are great and the staff are lovely. The pigs are an added bonus!

I'm a hardened traveller but the A frame 'basic' rooms are incredibly basic, the bathroom was so small that I couldn't actually sit straight on the toilet! It would probably have been okay but I had food poisoning, so I upgraded to another room which was much better. The food in the restaurant was quite average, the Vietnamese stuff surprisingly bland, I ordered Poutine for lunch and it was a bit sloppy and tasteless - but I really can't complain about a Canadian dish in Vietnam and it not being great!
