About this cottage rental
The Falabella is a delightful 2 bedroomed self catering 2 star gite in a rural location but within 2km of the charming village of Moncoutant.
It benefits from an open plan living area with a well equipped kitchen including fridge-freezer, microwave, oven and Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double, one with 2 singke beds and lots of storage space.
A number of shops, restaurants and markets in surrounding towns. Coulon, La Rochelle, the Atlantic coast, Futuroscope and Puy du Fou, all within a short drive. Walking, fishing, golf, horse riding and cycling all available within 5 minutes drive.
It it ideal base during the summer to enjoy all the activities the region has to offer and can also be available for short stays, weekend breaks (out of season) or longer breaks for house hunting etc. Please contact us for more details.
Linen provided and beds made prior to arrival. Towels can be provided for a small charge.
There are three properties on site so ideal for friends and family wanting to holiday together but still have their own private space.

Open plan living space has comfy sofa and armchairs, flat screen tv, French & English channels.
Good sized shower room on the ground floor so easy access for little ones from outside.

To the side is a communal garden area with sun loungers and views over the countryside towards the village.

We welcome children and know how difficult it can be taking everything with you on holiday so we can provide, cot, highchair and safety gate.

The house itself is was fine, pretty much as described. We hadn’t realized there would be horses and stables right next door but that didn’t disturb us. The washing machine wasn’t in the house itself but in a shed outside. A long washing line was available in the garden to hang things up. We received the code to enter the house 5 minutes before the official time …Don’t arrive any earlier than 5 pm because you won’t be able to get in.
