About this cottage rental
La Bodiniere is a charming 2 bedroom self catering 3 star gite with many character features and modern facilities situated 2kms outside the local town of Moncoutant. It has the option of sleeping up to 5 people with a large master bedroom with the option for either a cot or z-bed and a twin room. A large open plan kitchen/dining area includes dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer and microwave. Although not detached the property benefits from a private garden with patio area and children's play area. Wi-fi available please note coverage may not extend to all the property.
A number of shops, restaurants and markets can be found in Moncoutant as well as the surrounding towns. Coulon, La Rochelle, the Atlantic coast, Futuroscope and Puy du Fou, all within a short drive. Walking, fishing, golf, horse riding and cycling all available within 5 minutes drive.
La Bodiniere has oil fired central heating(October - March) and is therefore warm and cosy all year round. It it ideal for short stays, weekend breaks (out of season) or longer breaks for house hunting etc. Please contact us for more details.
Linen provided and beds made prior to arrival. Towels can be provided for a small charge.

an excellent spacious property which was well presented and equipped. Could not fault the accommodation and the photographs did not do it justice. The welcome basket was much appreciated.

Le gîte est agréable et bien situé. Cependant, à notre arrivée, un serpent se trouvait dans le salon. Cela peut être compréhensible car le gite se situe à la campagne. Mais nous avons été déçus par l'absence de réaction de nos hôtes. Nous avons réglé seuls le problème.
Un chauffage d'appoint serait le bienvenu dans la salle de bains.
