Room very comfortable, bed comfy but the best thing was the staff; I apologise as I should have got her name but the receptionist/waitress/ bar lady was superb with a big smile on her face nothing was too much. I had breakfast with added extras and waddled out!

The best in carmarthen

Welcome greeting, was in the best room I have seen yet at the spillman. Breakfast is 10/10 and cooked fresh to your requirements... no hot limp buffet here.

The only single thing that let's the spillman down is the lack of evening meals. Even a simple room service menu would be awesome.

Definitely revisiting!

The room was a big comfortable stylish room. The little extra touches made it. The staff were lovely. Plenty of parking spaces with electric charging points on most bays.

The entrance to the carpark was very narrow with bollards making it even tighter. Also our room was right in front of a noisy pub. But those points are not their fault.

Communication friendly, transparent, directions for on site car parking, location was perfect for my son's football festival the next day. My 8 year old son, said the sausages & eggs were 10/10 ;-)

Onsite parking is a squeeze need to take your time. But the hosts were very helpful to explain how to navigate the entrance for parking on site. There was not much options to eat in the evening near the hotel. We used the Indian in the street which was at the back of the hotel & Co-Op Shop.

Disappointed for the money spent

Nice shower and nice staff

Doesn’t serve food in the evening so would need to go out for dinner or get something else. Parking was impossible to get as you had to drive through a tiny arch which my car didn’t fit! So had to try and find parking elsewhere but there wasn’t anywhere else long stay. Bed was uncomfortable and didn’t sleep very well.

We were in the twin room no 27 which was amazing .. the pillows felt a little lumpy but that’s the only fault ..everything else was absolutely amazing thank you so much. And that’s not a big fault to be honest just me being fussy .

Fantastic customer service which overcame any other small criticisms. Excellent free breakfast. Lovely old style executive room.

Impossible to park a larger car due to narrow entrance. Luckily a public car park near. No draught beers in bar.

On the whole we enjoyed our stay, but there were issues that meant it could have been better

Large spacious room with fridge, sofa and comfortable bed. Breakfast very good.

Entrance into car park extremely tight, but the hotel did provide notification of this following booking, but ahead of stay. The addition of information on entrance widths would have been useful. Our room overlooked Kings Street. Very noisy in the late evening due to pub opposite and noisy from 5.30am with deliveries and works again to adjacent businesses. Also soundproofing to room above limited as we could hear every step from above.
