Boatyard View

We were extremely pleased with all aspects of our short stay at Boatyard View. The apartment was a compact but very well designed self -catering unit in an ideal location. The kitchen area had everything we could wish for, and all equipment was in excellent condition. There was a great view over the river, and, of course, the boat yard, and a riverside path was just yards away from the front door. There was easy and safe parking next to the apartment, and the location was just minutes away from the historic centre of Sandwich, yet it was quiet and peaceful. The apartment was decorated in a most stylish and attractive way which made for a very relaxing stay. The owner who greeted us could not have been more helpful and welcoming, and we were particularly impressed by the owners very useful, personalised recommendations for places to eat, or visit, in the town. I’ve stayed at Boatyard View many times and always find it a comfortable and pleasant place to be.

The location was fantastic. Parking brilliant (this was very important for me) the property owners provided me with a Parking permit which was very good. Loved the Apartment nice view over the river (when standing) and enjoyed looking at the Ducks sitting on a moored boat platform opposite. Eating places very nearby and a nice welcome information sheet on walks and food. Spotlessly clean apartment and friendly owners (who live above the apartment). Nice quiet location but everything is in walking distance. Towels provided and a pint of milk teabags and instant coffee Fridge Washing machine and oven and Hob. Toaster. Microwave. Also 2 bottles of water provided. 5 Stars

I struggled a bit with the Double bed. It's up against the wall (sideways) and the headboard backs onto the shower room, this meant climbing over my partner each time I needed the bathroom. so it meant shuffling down the bed to try and get out of it. Apart from that everything was great.

Lovely, clean room with cooking appliances and utensils provided. Great location, overlooking the river and right in the heart of Sandwich.
