It’s age, history & charm. With modern twist inside - the brand new bathroom & loved the bath in the double bedroom! Also the log fire was a dream during these cooler evenings
The noisy road, but I understand nothing can be done about that! I’m sure with an old & probably listed building you’re unable to add double glazing!

Gorgeous property with lovely period features, close to shops, pubs and restaurants. My wife says it was one of the nicest places she has stayed.
As an older person I found the rope bannister a bit unsteady and the double room with bath had a slightly unpleasant smell.

The location
A the cottage is old, the walls inside kept crumbling, daily hoovering had to be done.
