The owner, Romain, was easily contactable and his hand over of keys and arrival introductions to the property / facilities instruction documents were excellent. The house has a home feel to it, including all sorts of facilities, provisions and activities we wouldn't normally expect from a holiday home. If it wasn't for the many attractions in the surrounding area, we could easily have spent all our time in the house and garden. The property is gated and surrounded by fencing that made us feel very secure and in privacy. Romain has catered for everything imaginable. Wonderful location for children of all ages (including adults in this)!! Access to the local shops / restaurants and the lake front beach is only a short walk. The lake is ideal for all sorts of water based activities, (eg paddle boarding, wind surfing, snorkelling) and provides many opportunities to hire the necessary equipment (we brought our own and the house is close enough to the lake for even the children to carry their own kit). The nearby locations are easily accessible (we hired bikes and went for miles on well-maintained cycle paths in the woods) and the Atlantic coast, only a couple of kilometres away, has miles of sandy beaches which are ideal for surfing, swimming or sun bathing. There is so much to do in the area (vineyards, markets, water parks etc) we didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted, so we would like to go back again next year!!

So much to do, so much fun was had by everyone, the two week went by too quickly!! We didn't want to leave!!
