About this apartment rental

These newly renovated property is in the historical centre of Pigna, a medieval village in the Nervia valley which is 21 kilometers from the sea. It has sun all the year being south faced. The apartment, which is on the first floor of an ancient building, has a bedroom with a double bed and two wardrobes, a modern bathroom, a living room with a sofa bed and an ensuite kitchen with all modern appliances and also a washing machine. The windows of the living room have a panoramic view over the Nervia valley. The apartment has a flat TV where you can watch satellite channels and fast and free Wi-Fi internet through an antenna. Air conditioning is also available. Parking is about 100-200 meters from the apartment. Shops and restaurants are a short walk away in the village.

Bright and Cheerful Apartment
The apartment's large windows and Italian shutters permit a refreshing flow of air throughout, and from the kitchen/living area there are beautiful mountain views. Tastefully renovated, the apartment is equipped with a modern bathroom, a large comfortable bed, and a convertible sofa if need be. Our host Alessandro promptly answered each of our questions. We wanted exercise, so the location rather high up in the charming medieval village of twisting maze-line alleys was OK. But this would be a problem for anyone who is physically challenged, which is why we didn't give the location rating a 5. Wonderful hiking and the delightful village of Dolceacqua nearby, with the Mediterranean only half an hour away. There is a Michelin restaurant just 1 km from the apartment and other good restaurants and grocery stores in the village. This is a fantastic getawat for anyone desirous of comfort, exercise, good food, and beauty!

Wir verbrachten eine knappe Woche unseres Italien-Urlaubes in Alessandros Ferienwohnung. Die Wohnung ist komplett neu eingerichtet; alles vorhanden; alles funktioniert prima. Sie liegt in einem Haus im mittelatlterlichen Gassengewirr von Pigna. Die Stadt allein ist schon sehenswert: alt, verwinkelt, mittelalterlich, freundliche Leute überall, ausreichend Cafes und herrliche Ausblicke auf die umgebenden Hügel und anderen Mittelalter-Dörfer. In einer solchen Stadt und Umgebung noch eine top eingerichtete Ferienwohnung zu haben, war schon ein Erlebnis. Stadt und Unterkunft eignen sich zusätzlich noch für Abstecher in die herrliche Umgebung: alles unter 20km erreichbar: die Küste der Riviera mit ihren schönen Städten (Ventigmilia, Bodighera, ...); die anderen Täler der cinque vallis; alte Städte wie Dolceaqua, Castelovittoria (kann man zu Fuß hin), Apricale und und und ... Und natürlich Osterias mit bester ligurischer Küche satt. Alessandro und Giorgia hatten zu jeder Frage, die während unseres Aufenthalts auftauchte eine schnelle Antwort. Wir können die Ferienwohnung vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen! Rita und Martin
