    Excellent central location, friendly helpful staff. Being a solo traveller it made me feel safer that reception was manned 24/7. Other than the carpet in the lobby and hallway was dirty, the room was spotless, the bed comfortable and sheets clean. Small room but more than adequate for my stay. I arrived early and staff found a suitable room to allow early check in which I appreciated. Recommend Ibis Styles to others that want to stay central Melbourne. Thank you, I will be back again.

    The location was fantastic and the price was excellent value for money, which were definitely the highlights of my stay. The bed itself was very comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. However, there were a few downsides. The bedroom was extremely small, making it feel quite cramped. Cleanliness could also be improved, as it wasn’t up to the standard I expected. My biggest issue was the double bed – for accommodation catering to couples or two adults, I found it far too small and quite disappointing

    I had a wonderful stay at Ibis Styles South Bank. The location is fantastic, with easy walking access to South Bank attractions, restaurants, convenience stores, public transport, and the Crown precinct. The hotel offers comfortable rooms, clean facilities, and all the essential amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the overall experience even better. Whether travelling for business or leisure, this is a very convenient and well-positioned hotel. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Melbourne

    Our wedding anniversary was a nightmare at ink hotel southbank Melb, *** (8th Nov 2025)for a small box room with a massive box as the window view & booked a disability room due to wife's disability, room was changed to standard room on check-in (no wheelchair access and bathroom assistance), & also room alarm went off at sunrise, for which i sprung out of bed naked, thinking we burning down, 2 min later night manager banging on door, once I opened he barged in, my wife was naked in bed, then he said sorry its a know issue with the alarms in the rooms (well fix them then). asked to speak to the hotel manager, told she was on holidays, spoke to hotel duty manager, she said sorry about that, but we did ask you at check in do you really need a "Accessible" room, (yes that's why I booked it), she said sorry that's it nothing else.
