    Really clean and modern hotel, a ten minute walk from the CBD. We loved: the comfy beds, Nespresso machine, the TV with free movies (including a great selection for kids), the staff. There is a young woman working at the bar who was working so hard and was exceptionally friendly and polite. Things we liked less: there was an odour of pipes? And there was no dedicated bathroom, instead glass doors for the toilet and shower, so there was a slight lack of privacy (had to take turns facing the wall when getting undressed)! A screen or sliding door would go a long way. Breakfast was served in the lobby area and is set menu (not buffet style) which was slightly disappointing but we both enjoyed our meal.

    Our wedding anniversary was a nightmare at ink hotel southbank Melb, *** (8th Nov 2025)for a small box room with a massive box as the window view & booked a disability room due to wife's disability, room was changed to standard room on check-in (no wheelchair access and bathroom assistance), & also room alarm went off at sunrise, for which i sprung out of bed naked, thinking we burning down, 2 min later night manager banging on door, once I opened he barged in, my wife was naked in bed, then he said sorry its a know issue with the alarms in the rooms (well fix them then). asked to speak to the hotel manager, told she was on holidays, spoke to hotel duty manager, she said sorry about that, but we did ask you at check in do you really need a "Accessible" room, (yes that's why I booked it), she said sorry that's it nothing else.
