We had a wonderful stay in Ella. Although the accommodation is not very close to the town center, it is easy to reach by bus or tuk-tuk. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean.
The terrace is a lovely place to enjoy breakfast or simply relax with friends while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The accommodation occupies a dedicated floor of a local family's home, which made the experience feel authentic and welcoming.
The family was incredibly kind and helpful, giving us great recommendations on the best places to visit and the easiest ways to get there. Breakfast was generous and varied, with different local dishes served each day, allowing us to try a wide range of Sri Lankan cuisine.
We also had dinner at the accommodation, and it was absolutely delicious. The lady of the house is an excellent chef. We highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a warm, authentic, and relaxing experience in Ella.

We had a great stay in Ella, away from the bustle of the town centre, but with a couple of nice restaurants nearby. The family operating the homestay are very welcoming. Communication was great and dinner and breakfast were amazing (everyday there was something new/different). The family room is on the small side, but the terrace with hillside views does make up for that.
With 4 (2 adults, 2 children), the family room is on the smaller side.

Squeaky clean, room is spacious, comfy bed, beautiful view, the hosting family is amazing! Everyone is very gentle and funny, they offered an amazing breakfast. You can also order lunch and dinner they have a little menu. Dining room is very cared for, bright and sunny also with stunning view.
The house is on the road so expect some horn noises. Didn’t really bother us too much, we slept like babies.
Hosts replay through WhatsApp very quickly. Helpful if any information is needed.
If ever back to Sri Lanka surely back at their place.
