Not the best place I have ever been

The ac and location

Very difficult to find ,no communication not the cleanest,did not appreciate the smell of garbage every time you left or came into apartment,freezer was so full of ice you could not put anything in it.And I have travelled all over the world and I have never not had a corkscrew in the place I am renting.overall disappointing

No breakfast provided

Nobody present to greet us. We did not have easy access to unit. Left to wait in park area in front for hours when the condo was available! Thankfully a stranger from Rome, offered to call owner. They should not assume that all travellers have access to calls in Europe other than WhatsApp. We were stopped from entering for $9 euros of tourists tax that we had planned to pay in person. After providing proof of this payment, we were provided code to a lock box that had a key. An ANCIENT Roman key that you had to turn 4 times to unlock 4 locks embedded in the door that you could not see. Again, no instructions from owner! Nothing like Canada. When you enter the front door, you are greeter with a garbage fowl smell! They line up bins at entrance! The staircase up to unit was narrow, walls dirty. It did not feel safe. Go up flights of stairs with heavy luggage, narrow, NO WORKING elevator. Not well lit. Kitchen not clean. Shower had mould in grout. We were 3 guests, not enough towels. Owner was fully paid in advance with our proof iof passports and then when we arrived, was not easy to reach! We felt we were scammed. Glad it was only for ONE night.

excellent location, clean, plenty of refreshments and choice for breakfast, air conditioned, great value, above a lovely restaurant called Cibus. Vittorio was very helpful and collected us from the airport and showed us where to get on the shuttle bus at the port. good communication.

Breakfast was a combination of cereal, bread, meats, cheese, and sweet buns. The property provided bottled water, milk, juice, and coffee. It was all quite sufficient and good.

There was no balcony or outside windows with a view, but the comfort and location of the property more than made up for this.
