Hof Dietrich

It was our second stay here, the previous time we stayed in the "Alpenpritsche", a tiny home up on the meadow. It was absolutely quiet there even with another large group staying at the main house. This time we stayed in a room on the second floor with a large double bed. There is a guest toilet on the same floor and the bathroom one floor below. Dinner can be ordered, we had raclette with was abundant, other guests had steak which was equally large! Breakfast is huge with eggs, a cheese and various cold cut plate, cereal, yogurt, butter, jam, a breadbasket with a variety of bread and rolls, and more. The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is a working farm with lots of dogs, cats, Llamas, chicken (plus roster!),

The room, with it's windows facing the front of the main house, is a bit noisier if the windows are open (we had a hot day and night). This is due to noise traveling upwards on the house front. Voices from anyone sitting in front of the house can easily be heard. But it was quiet after 10 pm. We wish the bathroom would have been on the same floor.

The hospitality of the host was amazing. The place was cozy and nice.

The room was a bit small.

- Die Hunde begrüssen einen bellend. - Der Hof wirkt auf den ersten Blick etwas überstellt, der Gästebereich jedoch wirkt ganz anders und aufgeräumt. - Unser Zimmer war im Dachstock, wo es halt bei diesen hochsommerlichen Temperaturen von 35 Grad eher warm war. Es hat aber einen Ventilator.

Breakfast was good.

WiFi not good. Hotel is a long steep walk from he station. Didn't like being charged before arrival, with no choice of payment methods..
