Very nice!

Had a lovely time here, the host is a good man. Gave me a couple of tips on where to get some info on the area & things to do / explore, local supermarkets etc. Overall, I was very happy with my stay here.

Super relaxation and fun

The host is very welcoming and helpful, communication is very easy and open. You have everything you need in the house and around, the rules are simple and with common sense anyone should be at ease staying here. Swimming pool is just awesome, we spent 2 full days in the water.

Not much to say, maybe the area around the swimming pool needs a bit of maintenance. For a weekend spent at the property all was quite in order, so the little inconveniences are not noticeable for a shot stay.

The room was pleasant it satisfied the need for an overnight stay in the area.

perfect stay in quiet environment

We were able to arrive quite late which was no problem, the room was clean and a very quiet environment

Only problem (which would be no problem for most visitors) was the quite steep hill to the property, quite difficult to backup onto the road again with a trailer, but this could also have to do with my personal driving skills.. ;-)

Superb

Everything was amazing! Highly recommended. It's a gorgeous location, the owner is really friendly and helpful, and there's a pool (though it wasn't available for my trip. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway it's a perfect spot. I only had 2 very minor issues, and neither was really the fault of the property or owner.

As I said above, only a couple of very minor issues. Firstly if you arrive on foot, there is not a lot to explore close by. If you are staying for a while I recommend having your own transport, even if it's just bikes. Secondly, the landlord asking for a positive booking.com reference. Where I'm from that's considered rude, but much like asking for likes on youtube, I imagine doing so really helps boost the property's visibility. So I understand why he did so. But these 2 issues are so unbelievably minor compared to all the amazing things about the property. If you are thinking of staying here, then just book already :).

Although shared lodging with hostess enough privacy and nice location

After a long 95km kickbike 🛴 ride a plunge in the pool was an absolute delight. We were welcomed friendly by the hostess and given a tour of the property and our room. We could safely park our kickbikes in the garage. We shared a bathroom with the other guests (and the hostess too I think) Because there wasn't a restaurant nearby we ordered dinner and we were allowed to eat this in the kitchen and use utensils as well. Beds were comfortable and the area super quiet.

For us, on kickbikes, the climb up the hill where the Chambre d'hote is was very hard. So I can imagine when travelling on bikes as well. However it was well worth the climb.

It met all expectations

Breakfast was not included, but there were nice coffee bars nearby. The swimming pool was beautiful and a welcome asset as the air temperature reached 38 degrees. We visited the area to attend a family wedding. The accommodation was perfectly located for this.

The bathroom was shared, but very roomy and clean.

Enjoyable

Very pleasant scenic and rustic location. We arrived with a 3.5 tonne van but we could park it in front of the owner's parent's house 50m away. Friendly host and the bathing facilities are very good. It was too cold to try the outdoor pool...

Breakfast was not mentioned/offered on Booking.com but was available for an extra cost when requested locally. Please remember to pay before leaving!

Does the job but not comfortable

Location is great, village is very quiet. Everything is very clean, the kitchen is well equipped. Brigitte is a lovely lady, very helpful.

Downstairs room I got was very small but did the job. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, surrounded by wood on 3 sides so was hitting my arms all night. The pillow was too soft for me, had to find blankets to prop it up. There were noises from around the property (taps running, tanks filling, people talking) well into the night. Parking may be a problem, if you have a bigger car you might struggle with maneuvering.

We were there during the flood, so the host received us earlier than the check-in time to give us shelter from the heavy rain. We only stayed one night taking a small detour from our biking trip, so we didn't see much in the area, but the place was very comfortable.

Séjour inoubliable avec de très belle rencontres

Nous avons passer un excellent moment , notre hôte Alain a était très accueillant , nous avons pu échanger avec lui, il nous a même conseillé des activité à faire dans les environs , ce qui concerne la maison rien à dire chambre confortable avec télé et wifi , nous avons pu également profiter de la terrasse et de la piscine sans oublier les barbecue à notre disposition. Nous y retournerons dès que possible à très bientôt Alain les deux frères français .
