There was no breakfast, either included or optional for pay. The location was excellent, in the middle of the old town.

A lot. The outside temperature was in the upper 80s and there was a winter blanket on the bed and no sheets. Partly what attracted me to book this place was the picture of a washing machine. When we arrived, it was running very noisily with someone's clothes in it. No instructions on use, nor soap. I wrote the owner, got no reply, and two hours later it was still going. The "desk" (a table) had no chair, but a backless stool. No luggage racks or other appropriate place for our suitcases. One was just able to fit in a metal shelving unit, the other remained on the floor. We were told we could eat or drink anything, but there were no drinks and nothing to eat that didn't need cooking, like, say, fruit or crackers or other finger food. There were four little pieces of chocolate in a bowl, but that was it in the way of "help yourself to any of the food." Our unit was three steep flights up and no one to offer to help us get the luggage up the stairs.

Gorgeous, comfy, centrally located apartment with everything you could need and a fantastic host.

Violet, the host, is amazing and very welcoming with great communication throughout. As such access to the property was easy (despite our delayed arrival). The location is excellent and couldn't be more central with cafes, bars, gorgeous shops and supermarkets nearby. The apartment had everything we needed and more. We walked almost everywhere, swam in the river, took in the local culture and people watched outside the apartment window! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The internet was not working properly! I have contacted the host, she tried to help and sent me another wifi device, and it was still not doing well. Another thing, you need to be extremely careful if you are tall! The room entrance is small, I’ve knocked my head and open forehead because of it.

Very nice apartment, great location, very accommodating hosts.

This was a very pleasant apartment in an excellent location. It's small, but we had enough space, and it was attractively and comfortably furnished. And the location was great. It's in the old town, about a minute away from the tram stop at Markplatz, so we were only a heartbeat away from the daily market there - in fact, we could see it from our window - and another heartbeat away from a Coop and a Migros. She and Alex were also very accommodating about our arrival time. We were scheduled to arrive in Basel several hours ahead of their check-in time, but Violet assured us that we could check in early if the previous guests had left and, if they hadn't, we could leave our luggage. As it turned out, our plane was late, but Alex waited patiently for us anyway. I was a little worried about finding it, but Violet gave us excellent instructions, advising us NOT to try to walk but to take the 8 or 11 tram and to get off at the fourth stop. I wasn't terribly clear what to do next, and Google maps was having one of its occasional failures, but I checked back with Violet and she drew me a little map and gave me a landmark to look for. Perfect.

It is a small apartment and there wasn't a lot of room to unpack and store our stuff, but that really wasn't much of a problem.

Violet was an excellent host and was very accommodating. She was very responsive with messages and allowed me to leave my luggage early, and also a late check out. The apartment is spacious and in an excellent location. The bed was large and comfortable.

The location. Attention, there are transports from 4:46 am to the train station (trams 8 and 11). And from 05:00 from the train station to the airport (bus 50).

We spent almost 2 hours looking for the street, they didn't give us the right information. There was no information about store hours, transport, I asked Alex and got it wrong about transport. There were no kitchen towels, well there was one and it smelled bad. There was no microwave.

Basilea : elegante e raffinata

Posizione ottimale. Si può visitare a piedi tranquillamente tutto il centro di Basilea. La puntualità dell ' host nella consegna delle chiavi dell'appartamento e a fornirci la Basilea card per poterci spostare gratuitamente con i mezzi pubblici ed avere agevolazione in alcuni musei. Comodissimo e molto utile il wifi portatile messoci a disposizione gratuitamente. Cucina molto funzionale , letto comodo ed appartamento ben riscaldato .

Bagno minimal ma efficiente. Piano alto con molti gradini da fare, per cui non adatto per persone che hanno problemi di deambulazione.

המיקום מעולה. ממש על המרקטפלאץ. יש מכונת אספרסו עם קפסולות חופשי. הדירה מצויידת היטב למרות שהדברים קצת ישנים.

הדירה הייתה קרירה ושהינו בסתיו כשהיה בחוץ 13 מעלות. סופקה שמיכה אחת בלבד וגם כשהבהרנו שאנחנו צריכים עוד אחת, לא נעשה בשבילנו שום מאמץ והופננו להשתמש בכיסוי המיטה. כשהגענו לדירה, מכונת הכביסה עבדה והייתה תפוסה. השעון עליה הראה שהיא עומדת לעבוד עוד 4.5 שעות (!). היא נמצאת בסמוך לחדר השינה (שהוא גם הסלון) ככה שאם חשבנו שנהנה מהסיאסטה, זו הייתה סיאסטה לקולה של המכונה. אנחנו ממש לא מבינים מדוע כשמשלמים כל כך הרבה כסף בעבור דירה קטנה, בעלת הבית משתמשת במכונת הכביסה בזמן השהות בה. הדירה ממוקמת בקומה ה3 והמדרגות מתעגלות. להעלות מזוודה של 20 קילו ללמעלה זו משימה לא פשוטה גם לאנשים חזקים.

Sinta-se em casa!

O espaço é muito acolhedor e confortável. Fez-nos sentir em casa! Adorámos o facto de haver ingredientes base para cozinhar, tais como azeite e vinagre, bem como chá e cápsulas de café . A única limitação da cozinha era a ausência de exaustor. O apartamento está muito bem localizado, no centro da cidade, bem pertinho da Rathaus. Agradecemos a flexibilidade do Alex e da Violet, que nos permitiu chegar depois do horário previsto para o check in. Apesar de não ter constituído um problema para nós, o apartamento é um terceiro andar, sem elevador.
