22nd Uprising Square

We stayed at the apartment on the 8th floor. It’s modern and has the best view one could expect: at night Bratislava’s castle is lit up and it’s a blessing. It is also located very close to city centre, making it a very recommended place to stay.

Unfortunately the apartment was not clean: the floor was very dusty and clearly it had not been washed. Dishes in the cupboard were encrusted with old food (we tried to wash them but it would not go away). We even found old slices of moulded bread in the microwave, another proof that who cleans the apartment is not at all thorough. Of course, minor adjustments could improve the rating and make it exceptional: 2 chairs for 3 guests (one of us had to eat standing up) someone in the reviews suggested to but folded chairs, no one felt the urgency; blinds should be repaired as they cannot be turned according to the time of the day, especially at night and when sun shines; a couple more of dishes, cups and bowls would not harm, as well as instructions to operate the telly would be really appreciated. Someone wrote in the comment that a pair of scissors is missing: nobody yet provided it. Bulbs should be replaced. Water power can be improved also. There is no vacuum cleaner or broom: if we are renting an apartment it means we need to clean our own dirt: we only stayed 2 nights but showers, hair, additional dust piled up.

The location is perfect. The room was clean.

Noisy in the morning because of trams. Parking was not ideal and more expensive than advised.

Great apartment with excellent value for money. The location is very convenient, close to everything you need, and the apartment itself is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The price is very reasonable for the quality offered, making it a perfect choice for both short and longer stays. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.
