Irlandas Villa Funchal Seaside Villas

Really lovely villa set in perfect location. Facilities were spot-on with everything you could need provided. Patricia had been very communicative prior to our arrival answering all my questions and putting my mind at rest, but even so there was someone on sight each day should you have any requirements or need information. The villa itself was lovely and contained all we needed for self-catering although we didn't take advantage of the BBQ facilities. The best aspect by far was the huge terrace which had two sets of table & chairs and two sun loungers (beach towels provided) and overlooked the sea and harbour - perfect views. Bathroom was great with lovely walk-in shower and even a washing machine. We found it was just a ten minute (if that) walk to many superb bars and restaurants but like everywhere it is quite hilly - was OK walking "down" but we generally caught a taxi back to the villa costing 5 Euro's each trip. Lovely touches made the stay even more pleasurable such as on arrival having bottle wine, bowl of fruit, various bits to eat left for us. Would highly recommend

Nothing to do with the owners / villa but as someone else mentioned we did get ravaged by mosquito's so advise you take cream/repellent's if you are susceptible to these critters......

Top Lage in Funchal mit Blick auf den Hafen und in Richtung Altstadt. Barreirinha Café zu Fuß in 7 Minuten erreichbar - top für Sundowner.

Location is perfect. Breakfast we prepared ourselves.

Not too much privacy

Die Lage war fantastisch, die Einrichtung perfekt, wir konnten täglich auf der herrlichen Terrasse frühstücken mit Blick auf Meer und Hafen, umgeben von einem tollen Garten. Die Gastgeber sind außerordentlich freundlich.

Alles schön! Wir waren meist draußen unterwegs.
