Amazing location, with some small touches needed.

The location is amazing. We loved staying at Ljuta and public transport around the different parts of Boka bay is so easy. The style of the apartment is very nice. AC amazing, hot showers, cold fridge, comfortable bed - no complaints there!

Unfortunately we were on the first floor so there’s no privacy and no view so we paid a premium to not access the thing the property showcases which is a huge shame. I also think a few more amenities would be beneficial- no cleaning supplies to clean up all the red ants which gathered around the sink, no water on arrival, a coffee machine with not enough coffee pods to use it for the stay, 1 towel each for a weeks stay. Just a few extra touches would help elevate the stay and make it value for money (even without the view).

I would recommend staying at Porta del Mare.

Nice apartment with everything you need. Equipment is more than you finde normally in Montenegro. Good location and easy communication with the host.

Kitchen could be a little bit more clean, but I have seen worse. Street in front of the apartment sometimes a little bit noisy.

Amazing accomodation with a breathtaking view

The view was absolutely breathtaking. We arrived at the sunset and the staff was waiting for us even though we arrived later than originally supposed to. The kindness of the staff was more than we expected and we got a lot of help with finding the right place and with ordering a taxi to the accomodation from Kotor. I would highly recommend Porta del Mare!

Decent serviced apartments with very nice view and good value over money

This is a spacious serviced apartment between Kotor and Perast in Ljuta with great views of Kotor Bay. The interiors are tastefully designed with budget materials and the service is friendly and prompt. Good sound proofing. Although not premium accommodation, this is good value over money.

The bathroom ventilation is poor and makes it suffocating at times after two consecutive showers. Air conditioning is very loud and the space gets very hot due to its position and some former iron balcony railing that’s been left in the room by the window. The position is ok if you have a car as it is 6 mins drive to Perast and 12 mins to Kotor but not ok for walking. The suers give out a strong smell and the proximity to main road makes this a very noisy accommodation if keeping the windows open is what you like.

Stunning view, very clean apartment, comfort bed and cozy studio

Location is a bit far from Kotor old town unless you have a car so you can reach the town in 10 to 12 minutes. I used taxi because of short trip. But if you stay more i suggest you rent a car

Amazing apartment, great view, brilliant service from host

Sensational view, apartment is lovely and finished to a high standard.

Nothing to complain about, just a thing to note you will probably need to rent a car or bike to get backwards and forwards from the old town. Taxis will just become a chew if you’re here for a couple days or more.

Comfortable apartment with a great view

We really enjoyed staying at Porta del Mare. The apartment is beautiful, full of light, well furnished, clean and comfortable, has all the necessary amenities. The size is just right for a couple. As for the view, we have to clear something up :) The breathtaking cover photos were taken from one of the apartments upstairs. We stayed in the apartment on the first floor, and even though it was clearly a different room, the view from our window was still awesome, with the bay and the dramatic mountains. The host is friendly and very helpful, she gave us a lot of advice regarding our trip. To sum it up, it was a really pleasant stay and I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a hotel in the Kotor area.

Keep in mind, it's 10 minutes away from Kotor, so you will absolutely need a car to get there. However, there is a good restaurant and an oyster farm close to the apartment :)

Clean, modern apartment. Great views.

The apartment was modern and spotlessly clean. There was a kettle and tea bags as well as a coffee machine. The view was spectacular! The wifi was good, the bed was comfortable and overall our stay was very pleasant.

Parking is fairly limited and it is a bit tricky to pull out onto the main road. There was some noise (drilling/building work) which went on until after 11PM on our first night but when we told the host they spoke to the neighbours and there were no other disturbances.
