I did a very spontaneous 9-day solo trip to Šibenik, and staying at this hostel was the best decision I could’ve made. As a woman traveling alone, I felt completely safe here – the good reviews about the staff and accommodation were absolutely true.
The location is breathtaking! The terrace has an incredible view over the sea, with the cathedral to the left. Everything in town is within walking distance. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm which had its own bathroom with shower and toilet, but there are also additional showers and a women’s bathroom in the hallway – very practical when coming home late so you don’t wake anyone up. Everything was spotless, cleaned every morning.
The hostel is connected to a restaurant owned by the same people, just a couple of minutes away (a little tricky to find at first). Totally worth going – the menu has lots of traditional Croatian dishes, the garden is beautiful and blends perfectly with the church setting.
What made the stay truly special was the staff: incredibly kind, welcoming, always up for a nice chat and full of recommendations. Thanks to them I discovered islands, beaches and nearby cities. Honestly, it’s the best hostel I’ve stayed at so far – I’ll definitely be back!
If I could suggest a little upgrade, it would be curtains on the beds and maybe a toaster. But other than that, my stay was perfect.

Beautiful location, beautiful building with an interesting background story. Amazing terrace view, nice hosts and clean comfy beds and showers
If carrying a lot of luggage, city is old and steep full of beautiful steps. This is not a complaint but more a guideline to figure out how you gonna drag your stuff up. Worth it though:)

The location is perfect in the beautiful historic center every thing is a step away from the hostel, its so clean and they have an amazing terrace where you can see the beautiful sunset

the location!! very close to everything
the rooftop was my favourite place, magical for an unforgettable sunset, sightseeing and even the surprise of fireworks from the fortress
the price, so reasonable
the bed comfort

harder to meet people, but maybe that's just my opinion
lack of board games ? and maybe information about the town, but that's only optional
