- Perfect location, quiet and peaceful at night but a stones throw from restaurants and bars. -Wonderful spacious yard, hidden by the wall for privacy with a large table and chairs for outdoor dining and drinks. If you want to do a little people watching there is a separate balcony on the middle level of the house with chairs and a table also. -The views from the house are spectacular, Mountain views and street views, it’s perfectly positioned. -Most people park their scooters in the street, if you don’t want to (we didn’t), there is a scooter and ATV parking around a 5 minute walk from the house and plenty of streets to park a car up the hill. -The beds are comfortable, we had a 10 night stay and slept well every night. Bedding comfortable and clean. -The middle floor living room and lower floor kitchen are cool mostly, there is a fan if needed but we found the temperature perfect. The bedrooms have air con units, very powerful so only need to be used for a while to cool the bedroom then the ceiling fans keep you comfortable during the night. If you do need to keep the aircon running on low during the night during a heatwave etc they are very quiet and modern so do not disturb your sleep. -The kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook, there are MANY amazing restaurants nearby but the yard must be utilised atleast once during your trip to really enjoy the house.

This year, we chose the Sporades for our holiday – specifically Skopelos and Skiathos. We spent 6 nights on Skopelos and 7 nights on Skiathos. Next time, we will definitely spend more than 10 days on Skopelos, as the island completely stole our hearts. We fell in love with it so deeply that we’re certain we’ll return almost every year. However, beyond the natural beauty of Skopelos, what left the most lasting impression on us was the charming house we stayed in and its wonderful host – Eli. The house is full of history and authenticity. Designed in a traditional style, every corner is thoughtfully decorated with unique details. We spent our mornings and evenings after the beach relaxing in the magical garden, surrounded by flowers and a lime tree. The location is perfect – just a few minutes' walk from the town center. And now a few words about Eli, who truly deserves special recognition. Her warmth and hospitality were truly heartwarming. She welcomed us at the port when we arrived and saw us off when we left. The house had absolutely everything we needed for a perfect vacation – and even more. Thank you, Eli, for everything – this was the most beautiful holiday we've ever had, and we will definitely be back next year!
