The view from the main bedroom was incredible, and from the porch—even better, especially if you walk down a few steps to the cozy sitting area. The property manager responded quickly when I reported the toilet flush being stuck. Someone came promptly and had it fixed right away.

The duvet smelled like it hadn’t been washed in months, which was also obvious from its color. The pillow, too, was so flat that it lost all support as soon as you laid your head on it. There were a lot of bugs in the apartment as well especially in the main bedroom.

Incredible views in all weather conditions. Slightly remote from centre of town which we liked. Well appointed apartment with everything we needed. Good information and communication. Just an amazingly beautiful place and well worth the visit!

Beautiful location, pleasant little walk downhill to the chalet after collecting keys. Beautiful views of the mountains and helpful hosts.

The shower head in the bathroom was clogged so didn't provide adequate pressure. Duvet size was wrong initially but they came to fix it after we mentioned it.

- Great location. Sitting over the clouds and near the edge of a cliff, Candian Chalet is at the vantage point in Wengen overlooking the Lauterbrunnnen valley and Staubbach falls. - Well furnished and full of amenities for a comfortable stay with family

The gravel road down till the chalet was little challenging with heavy luggage which probably this can be worked on to improve the last mile experience.

Excellent place to do it all that the Interlaken area can provide. Outstanding views

How could you not appreciate the breathtaking view from the patio. We had an amazing fondue diner at the local restaurant We also liked having the BBQ on the patio. The local COOP had everything we needed for us to make a yummy BBQ diner We used the chalet as a base point and from there we visited almost everywhere in both of the valleys and the top of Europe.

Getting from the train station to the Chalet was a challenge Used my google maps to navigate but it still took a bit to get my bearings on which way to go. Also transporting our luggage up and down some moderately steep walkways to the Chalet was a challenge especially if the weather is bad

Don’t sleep on this

This is our second time staying here and it’s such a great place to stay and the view is amazing. The place has all the small stuff you would need for your stay.. soap for the dishes, dishwasher tabs, towels, and even a grill. In town there is a grocery store to get anything else you would need before heading down to the place.

There isn’t much of anything we didn’t like about the property. Just be aware that it’s a little bit of a walk uphill to get into town.

The location was great. It was very clean and just a short walk from the train station. Excellent patio to sit and look at lauterbrunnen.

Only thing to note is you have to walk up a gravel path on a steep incline to get back to town.

We’ve never come back more relaxed from a vacation!

The location was beautiful - on the edge of Wengen with an uninterrupted view to the mountains. To note, in order to get to the house you need to go down some gravel paths, so wheeling luggage is a bit difficult. The kitchen had literally everything we could ask for (including a fondue set!) and everything was spotless. Shower pressure was great and the water was always hot. Beds were comfortable, nice duvets and pillows were just right. Direct access to the hiking path down to Lauterbrunnen. Owner was lovely and very helpful.
