The view is excellent. The place is huge, bed is comfy, the apartment has everything you need and it's good value for money

The shower is not attached to the wall, you have to hold the shower head. There is a bad smell coming from the tap in the bathroom sink, it smells like sewage. The sink in the kitchen and the shower does not have that smell.

Our host, Jose, was wonderful--friendly, accessible, very accommodating. Our every question and request was answered or taken care of quickly and cheerfully. The restaurant, Mar Gastrotasca, located just next to the apartments, is very convenient, and has excellent food and service. The location of the apartments is excellent, with a view of the beach and boardwalk from the balcony. The apartments are near Playa la Cicer, the main surfing beach of Playa de las Canteras, so there were always surfers, from beginning to expert to watch, not to mention the amazing waves. The apartments are also close to lots of other excellent restaurants and bars, as well as supermarkets for grocery shopping. Finally, the apartments are within walking distance of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, where we were lucky enough to catch a classical guitar concert and a jazz vocalist and her group. There also many other kinds of cultural events at the Auditorium.

Apartment 1A is just above the restaurant, as well as near to the main entrance, so it can get a little noisy from time to time.

Location is fantastic and the apartment is spacious. Really can't imagine there's much better value anywhere else at Las Canteras.

Only 2 small points worth mentioning, the internet was a bit unreliable in the bedroom (everywhere else it was fine and actually very fast), while the apartment is a little loud. In the living room you can obviously hear the waves, which of course makes sense for a surfing beach! In the bedroom you can hear a hum from either the restaurant or the library downstairs. For me personally it was no issue, but my partner is very sensitive to sound and so had to sleep with her earplugs. Neither of these points caused us huge issues, the apartment was great overall!

Gros problème avec le voisin du dessus Il déplace les meubles a longueur de journée ,Entre toute les 20 minutes et 1h30 il racles des meubles au sol entre 10 et 30 minutes et cela de 6h30 du matin et 1h30 la nuit . Cela a rendu notre séjour très très désagréable .Nous en avons parlé a l'hôte qui a semblé surpris , mais l'isolation acoustique de l'immeuble étant inexistant cela n'a pas pu lui échappé. D'autre part les vélos dans la cage d'escalier et le voisin de palier qui prend l'escalier pour sa déchèterie donne une image très folk de l'immeuble
