The hues of the sky, paired with the vastness of an ocean teeming with surfers, create a truly unique experience. Mateo’s Penthouse is located in the most authentic and welcoming part of the beach—in a pedestrian zone with a wide variety of restaurants, supermarkets, sports facilities, surf schools, and playgrounds… what more could you ask for? Right next door, at the entrance, is our restaurant MAR Gastrotasca with a terrace overlooking the sea, run by the famous chef Oscar Dallas; 25 m from the sandy beach; 10 m from the municipal library; 100 m from the Go Feet gym (with a pool, sauna, and thalassotherapy); 150 m away is a supermarket and health center; 350 m away is the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium; 450 m away is the LAS ARENAS shopping center, the largest on the island; and 1,300 m away is the El Corte Inglés shopping center. From our location, you can walk to all the most important parts of the city of Las Palmas. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has an average temperature year-round, with lows between 14 and 16° and highs between 26 and 28°.

I had a very pleasant stay at this home in Las Palmas. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location was excellent. Communication with the host was friendly and quick, and I felt safe and at ease during my stay.I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this place to others.

We found everything as advertised. We liked the view, the kitchen and the bed. We enjoyed being on the less busy end of the beach. Apartment was very quiet.

I cannot overstate how lovely this apartment is. The view is simply breathtaking. It was bigger than I expected with almost everything you could need. The A/C in the bedroom was a godsend and while none in the main living area, with the patio doors open and other windows open, there was a nice breeze. Communication was excellent although I wish VRBO would use what3words as there google map link was awful and it took me a while to find. Great location with plenty to do and see. Thoroughly recommend
