House of Harmony

Here’s what my experience was like: My room was on the ground floor in the house at Seestrasse, across from the kebab restaurant, and I even had a bit of a view of the lake. In the morning, right after getting up, I took a dip in the lake—it was wonderful! The room was perfect for me; it was quiet, fairly spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Basically, the kitchen had everything I needed.

Hygiene in the kitchen could certainly be a higher priority, but this isn’t just the fault of the cleaning staff—it’s also largely up to the residents who cook there. To be honest, people should use more common sense; this applies to cleanliness in general, too (it seemed to me like, “I didn’t do it, so I don’t care”). As for my room, the owner wanted to put a large double closet in there, but at my request, she waited until I left. Although the room was perfect as it was, with a closet like that, it would definitely have been too cramped for me!
