Great location, great views, easy access by public transport to nearby Zurich

This youth hostel’s location, right next to lake Zurich, is ideal for open air swimming (water temperature in July 25 was 24oC!), ; the towns of Zurich or Rapperswil are easily reached by public transport. Good base for several hiking tours too. The views out of the windows are stunning too. Breakfast buffet was excellent

Exceptional

The location is excellent, right by the train station and near to shops. It's great to have the use of a guest fridge, laptop and kettle. I appreciated the easy going nature of the staff despite Covid and good ventilation of the common rooms.

Despite relatively old (I'm 50) I was for the first time in the hostel-style accommodation, thus my comparison could be a bit off the objective scale. Very friendly staff, a problem with booking the rooms immediately sorted out. Excellent location!

Everything was OK, maybe during breakfast missing food could be replenished a bit quicker. But, fortunately, we were not at the races :-), so had more time for discussions with friends. The hotel was full, i.e. many breakfast takers...:-)

Location is very far from the Zurich centrum but if you're looking a quiet nice holiday then its a perfect spot for that. Reception is not open all the time what I found it was quite problematic.

Good en friemelt staff. Breakfast was ok.

Poor beds, really cheap mattresses. Had the luck that I had a room alone. Had to put two mattresses on top of each other. No comforts in the room what so ever. This was not worth the money, I payed 91 euros!

Richterswill che magia !

La posizione è fantastica e come nucleo famigliare avevamo la camera con balcone con vista lago e quindi questo aspetto ha sicuramente influenzato la mia valutazione. Anche la colazione è stata ottima con prodotti - pochi - ma di qualità e molto gustosi sia per grandi che per bambini. Staff davvero cordiale. Lo spazio condiviso è molto gioviale per tutta la famiglia con giochi per i bimbi ed un biliardino!

Lage direkt am Wasser. Zimmer & Duschen waren Sauber. Frühstück vielfälltig.

Sehr schlechte Zimmerausststtung. Es fehlte eine Ablage und Licht am Bett. Sehr slte Betten, zudem sind die Parkgebühren mit 10 Franken viel zu hoch. Nicht zu empfehlenfe Jugendherberge ausser der guten Lage

Atrašanās vieta izcila, tieši ezera krastā. Viss kopts, ērts un tīrs. Numuriņā viss vajadzīgais, lai īslaicīgi uzturētos. ļoti labas brokastis, garšīga kafija. Personāls saprotošs, atsaucīgs. Auto novietošanai jāzin, ka stāvvieta ir par maksu.

Tolles Frühstück! Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Zimmer waren auch sehr schön. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Duschen waren nicht ganz sauber (Das ist allerdings Jammern auf hohem Niveau :)…).

Die Lage ist kaum zu überbieten, allein dafür lohnt es, in der Jugendherberge zu bleiben

Direkt am See, das findet man am Zürichsee sonst nur um sehr viel Geld. Die Zimmer relativ klein, Jugendherberge hat eigene Regeln. Die Garagenhalle daneben ein Glück für wenig Geld. Billig ist es nicht, aber allein die Lage rechtfertigt den Preis.

Schöne aussensicht schöne lage

Um 7 gab es noch keine Frühstück, wir dürften anrufen, und es dann wurde es eingerichtet. Gegen 7:30 Uhr könnten wir dann essen. Die Waschräume waren nur mäßig sauber. Bettwäsche ausgefranst… Obwohl online check in gefordert war, dürften erneut alles neu machen Erst auf Info, dass wir eingecheckt sind, wurde es eingelenkt Als wir um zehn gehen wollten, haben wir umsonst auf Personal gewartet. Es war nicht besetzt. Insgesamt finde ich die preis lestung ungenügend

Lage sensationell

Die Lage der Jugi ist absolut phänomenal! Direkt am Zürchersee und in der Nähe vom Bahnhof. Ich wurde sehr herzlich empfangen und mir wurde alles gut erklärt. Sowohl das Zimmer als auch die Toilette und Dusche waren sauber und in gutem Zustand. Es werden zusätzlich 10.- pro Parkplatz verrechnet. In den Zimmern fehlte mir bei den Betten direkt eine Art Minitablar für z. B. mein Telefon, Schlüssel, usw. Es war auch nur ein zentrales Licht vorhanden. Keine einzelnen kleinen Lampen bei den Betten. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok. Da ich mich am Morgen normalerweise salzig oder von ungesüssten Müesli ernähre, war es etwas dürftig: 1 Sorte Käse, 3 Sorten Fleisch, harte Eier, keine Früchte. Die Flocken waren leider alle süss. Ausserdem wäre es von Vorteil, wenn irgendwo notiert werden würde, dass ein Glas für Milchkaffee oder Cappuccino verwendet werden sollte - die grossen Tassen sind zu klein. Leider war ich ziemlich enttäuscht vom Abendessen. Natürlich erwarte ich kein 5-Sterne-Essen für diesen Preis, aber naja. Der Salat war echt lecker. Danach aber Reis, ohne irgendwelche Sauce, ein Stück Poulet und Rüebli & Erbsli aus der Büchse.. Naja.. Zum Glück hatte es ausreichend Salatsauce. Es waren viele Teenager und Kinder in der Jugi - wahrscheinlich war das der Grund für die Wahl des Essens. Eine Sauce hätte für mich bereits sehr viel aufgebessert.
