Beautiful, well equipped cottage - highly recommend.

Beautiful holiday let set in a pretty lane. Tastefully furnished, very well equipped and organised and super clean making for a restful stay. The host was very welcoming and gave really helpful information about the cottage and about things to do and see. Great bus connection into town and also a lovely walk either through Saint Severn or by the coast. Nice restaurants on the way and the Carrefour Express is akin to a small Marks and Spencer’s. Loved it.

This is possibly one of the best cottages we have stayed in. If we’d been staying longer a washing machine would have been welcome but this is a very small point as overall the property was truly excellent.

Checking in was problematic. Despite being asked to arrive by a certain time (mid-afternoon), there was no one to receive me. I could not access the property until the evening, therefore missing an important meeting that was prearranged.

Nice, spacious and clean house and rooms. Well equiped kitchen. Quiet street with private parking, which was easy for my oldtimer. Friendly host.

Although the garden is big, well equiped also with playing facilities for children and fenched (also easy for young children) it is some 20 meters across the very quiet street which makes it little less easy to use. The beds are very good although a bit short for long people.

Très bon logement indépendant pour un court séjour à Saint-malo. Bien placé pour visiter Saint-Servan, Intra-Muros, le Barrage de la Rance, etc.

Logement au calme, mais besoin de prendre sa voiture pour les visites (pas vraiment de transports en commun dans la ville).

Casa istorica

O casa istorica, specifica zonei, de piatra, micuța si bine structurata, dotata, îngrijită, intr-un cartier frumos, elegant. Am ales sa mergem pe jos la punctele de interes, cetate, ocean. Cu mers lejer 40 minute. In apropierea locației, se afla un magazin. Ne-am bucurat de șederea prea scurta. Proprietara este foarte simpatica si dornica de a ajuta. Recomand cazarea, recomand Saint Malo. E minunat!

Der Aufenthalt war für uns mit zwei Personen im kleinen, historischen Häuschen wunderbar: die Gastgeberin war super-super-nett, flexibel und hat uns viele wertvolle Tipps gegeben. So konnten wir z.B. den Markt in Dinard genießen und sind bei den Parkgebühren in St. Malo an der unteren Grenze geblieben. Tipp: unbedingt früh hin, sonst keine Parkplatz-Chance! Mein Mann ist kein klassischer Bretone: er kratzt an den 2 Metern und ist breitschuldrig, sodass ich das ein oder andere Mal ein lautes Blong, gefolgt von einem "Aua" (der Balken im Schlafzimmer war seinem Dickschädel im Weg) hörte. Auch war die Wendeltreppe für ihn nicht luxeriös. Dafür kann in einem alten Gebäude niemand etwas, ist für Riesen aber vll. als Vorwarnung interessant. Die Ausstattung, Sauberkeit und Lage war wirklich gut. Alles ist mit viel Liebe und einem Blick für Details eingerichtet und vorbereitet. Wer mehr als Salz, Pfeffer, Essig & Öl braucht, bringt es mit - das machen wir in jeder Ferienwohnung so. Im umzäunten Garten stehen Hängesessel und Spiele zur Verfügung. Dafür geht man wenige Schritte über eine Straße. Wir mussten uns erst daran gewöhnen, dass er an einer stärker befahrenen Straße ist - das kommt einem aber für die vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten (Dinard, Dinan, Strände, St. Malo & Mt. St. Michel => unbedingt sehr, sehr früh hin, sonst Menschenmassen, St. Suliac, Cancale, Steilküste... ) sehr zupass. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist wenige Schritte entfernt - aber für frisches Gemüse, Meerestiere und Backwaren würden wir jedem die tollen Wochenmärkte und handwerklichen Boulangerien ans Herz legen.
