Fabulous riverside apartment with a stunning view of the Seine.

A well equipped, modern comfortable apartment with a stunning view of the Seine. It was a real pleasure to step out of the door and be able to walk along the river. Private parking was an additional bonus. Excellent checking in instructions and communication from Eric and Pascal before and during our stay. Vernon is a lovely town and well worth a visit.

Really good option for a family of four

Great option for a young family of four wanting to visit giverny, Versailles and Paris. Well kitted out with nice small touches such as washing and dishwasher tablets etc. Was also very clean and comfortable.

Lovely location in a quiet street with views out over the Seine. Property was very well equipped and an easy walk into the town.

One bedroom was fine, but the second bedroom was very small with no windows so got very hot on a hot day and made sleep very difficult. Also the toilet cubicle was very small.

Cozy apartment with Seine views

Our recent stay at Balcons sur Seine was truly exceptional. The apartment is situated right on the banks of the Seine. Waking up to the serene river views from the balcony was a highlight of our trip. The apartment was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with all amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed for self-catering, and the living area was cozy and inviting. The bedroom provided a restful night's sleep, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. Pascal, our host, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. He provided us with excellent recommendations for local attractions making our stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal—peaceful yet conveniently close to Vernon town center and just a short drive to Giverny, where we visited Monet's house and gardens. Overall, Balcons sur Seine exceeded our expectations. It's a perfect choice for anyone seeking a relaxing and picturesque getaway in Normandy.

A great stay at a lovely location with a helpful host.

We had booked a one bedroom apartment for our family of 3. It was spacious, very clean and our course the balcony overlooking the water was great. We had reserved parking which was very secure behind a tall metal barrier. We initially contacted Pascal by phone who met us, showed us round the appartment and spoke about local attractions. He arranged to contact us on WhatsApp so we could message/ ring him if we needed help during our stay. We decided our 12 year old would sleep in the bedroom so we used the sofa bed to allow access to the kitchen/ tv later in to the evening. The sofa bed was comfortable and easy to use. There was an oven, coffee machine, washing machine, dish washer and electric BBQ. We enjoyed very much watching the river and boats passing by. We would certainly recommend this property which is only 15 minutes drive to Monet’s garden and 3 hours to the tunnel.

The address on Booking.com states the property is number 57, it is actually number 55. This led to some initial problems identifying the property but once we rang Pascal via the Booking.com app, he answered straight away and the issue was resolved. Access to the property is via spiral staircase, travelers with mobility issues may struggle, we did not see a lift but Pascal did offer to carry luggage!

The rooms are exactly as described in the pictures, all facilities that are described are present in reality. Our host Pascal was extremely polite and kind with a lot of knowledge about the area.

Everything was beyond perfect! It exceeded our expectations. Pascal was very welcome and flexible. The apartment was very well located and extremely comfortable. Also, it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and cosy. Everything you could possibly need was made available by the host. We are very happy with our stay and will for sure come back and recommend the place to friends and family. The view was to die for!

Exceptional hosts, wonderful view of the Seine, and comfortable flat

The flat was very modern and clean but what stands out the most was the beautiful view over the Seine from the little balcony where we could share the complementary bottle of cider our lovely hosts provided. This takes me to the best thing about the whole experience, the hosts. Pascal is extremely friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay to the maximum, going above and beyond and driving us to and from the station as well! I would highly recommend!

Superb

Pascal was a lovely gentleman who met us on our arrival and showed us around the apartment. It was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. The view of the Seine from the balcony is outstanding, and we decided to stay in most evenings to enjoy this. The location is excellent with the centre being only a 5 - 10 minute walk away, and another significant benefit of this location is that it is near a mainline rail station which gives you easy access to Paris, Rouen etc. We travelled to Rouen one day which was only 45mins away and is a very beautiful city. If we return to Normandy, we will definitely try and rent this apartment again - highly recommended!

Parts of France were experiencing a heatwave at the time we visited so I did struggle to sleep a few nights, although Pascal had provided two fans.

Must stay place if visiting Vernon.

The location was great - the view from our balcony was beautiful. We were able to rent bikes from our host to use around town which we enjoyed very much. The host also picked us up from and dropped us off at the train station which was a huge help. We also enjoyed being able to reserve time to use the jacuzzi. Amenities within our apartment were also excellent. I would book here again.

Top locatie in het mooie Vernon

Mooi klein appartement met blik op de Seine . Het appartement was heel schoon en leuk ingericht . Het contact met de beheerder/ verhuurder verliep het goed.wij zouden het weer huren! Wel zouden wij betere/ scherpe keukenmesjes meenemen . Vernon is een mooi dorp met een erg leuke markt. Een mooie wandelroute langs de Seine naar Giverny is zeker de moeite waard.

Het appartement was voor ons te warm en wij konden de kamertemperatuur niet zelfs reguleren. Het tweede slaapkamertje had geen raam naar buiten.
