Excellent location in San Polo, convenient, but calmer than Rialto/San Marco area, but close enough. Great restaurants nearby (Pinto, Madonna) + glorious fish and veg market two steps away. Easy walk to everywhere, if you don't mind getting lost occasionally.

De centrale ligging in een historische buurt. Mooi , comfortabel appartement. Hartelijke ontvangst aan de boothalte en begeleiding door sympathieke dame tot aan het appartement.
Door de aanwezigheid van de dagelijkse vismarkt lawaaierig vanaf de vroege ochtend. In het bijzonder als je met een open raam wil slapen. Daarnaast maakten de restaurants en de bar op het plein het s’avonds rumoerig, in het bijzonder op vrijdag en zaterdag.
Het ontbreken van een toaster.

Location excellent, two bedroom with plenty of room and authentic to Venice and great view of fish market. I would stay here again, great value for the money .
Would be 10 out of 10 if had air conditioning. Was Abnormally hot during our visit and the first two nights slightly uncomfortable. Windows do have screens, some reviews say no, must have been added later. Slightly noisy at night with windows opened, but I enjoyed hearing the activities outside and people talking. If close windows, would be too hot.

Beautifully restored old apartment, fully equipped, in an excellent location, only a short walking distance to Vaporreto (2 minutes to Rialto Mercato stop), Rialto Bridge (5 minutes), and main attractions in the city (~ 15 minutes to San Marco Square). Lots of restaurants around and the fish market just across it, hence slightly noisy in the evening and early morning but we did not mind this. Paola is an excellent host.
Wifi connection was slow, as anywhere else indoors in Venice, so not really an issue
