Apartment Josipa

The apartment is in the middle of the old town, so perfect for a two-day visit exploring Dubrovnik old town. Standard furnished thee star apartment, but nothing more. Had double glazing- fortunately. Staff helpful when contacted through Booking.com. Did not meet anyone in person.

The apartment shows distinct signs of wear and tear. It was perhaps the least good of the accommodation on our trip. Shower cabin leaked.

Our stay at this Airbnb in Dubrovnik had its highlights, and the biggest one was definitely the location. It truly couldn’t be better — right in the heart of the city, close to everything, easy to navigate, and incredibly convenient for exploring. That alone made our trip easier and more enjoyable. We also appreciated that even though the official check-in time was listed as 4:00 p.m. (which we already found a bit late), the host allowed us to check in at 1:30 p.m. on our first day. That flexibility was a considerate gesture and made a good first impression.

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short. The check-in and check-out times were not only strict but also inconsistent with what was listed on the platform (it originally said 3:00 p.m., not 4:00 p.m.). The air conditioning was extremely weak — we spent nights sweating, which is a serious issue during the peak of the Croatian summer. On our last day, we simply asked for an extra trash bag to tidy up before leaving, and the response was curt and unhelpful. We were told that “one bag is enough for two to three days” and that we had to take the trash out ourselves. The tone came across as cold and dismissive. Throughout the stay, the host felt distant and not very welcoming, which affected the overall atmosphere.
