Our Habitas Tulum - Adults Only

Beautiful place, with basically tents in a jungle atmosphere. Experience was great, with outdoor shower and toilet. You pay for the experience, so be conscious of wanting these vibes. Our partial ocean view room was a very small slice of ocean. Unfortunately for us the weather was really bad so we did not get the best out of it all.

We were definitely disappointed with the hotel restaurant, price/quality was way out and the communication really bad. And we did not find many alternatives in the area. Also check in communication was not optimal but they are transitioning to a new system, so here’s hoping it improves.

Everything, but particularly the location, food and rooms

The lighting could have been better in the rooms and the power was very weak so the hairdryer didn’t work well

I loved the room and the ocean view. The restaurant was so good and people working there were so nice.

Attentive staff. Food was overall good. Nice jungle/beach vibe. Nice daily activities offered by the hotel.

The night of arrival we found at least 5 big cockroaches in our room. Got moved to a temporary room for the night, which was fine. The next day we had to move to a 3rd room and still saw few cockroaches (partial ocean view). The hotel is located next to a beach club with extra loud music until at least 2 am in the weekend, thus, impossible to sleep. Breakfast options included felt limited after 3 days. Worth noting that the room is a tent and the bathroom is in open air. The beach is very rocky and not as sandy as you might think from the pictures. During our stay, it was very windy and with algae, so could not use it at all. Ended up leaving the hotel before planned due to the above circumstances, the hotel did provide a discount as apology. We were offered changing rooms (that would have been our 4th room) due to loud music, but we were tired about the situation and had decided to leave.
