Great find in the Loire Valley

The outside space was miserable and neglected, plants, shrubs etc in pots all dead. Piles of dead leaves. Not an enticing environment to sit out in. No sun umbrellas.

Excellence in the Loire Valley !

The property was well located in the central Loire Valley between Amboise & Blois, in a quiet street but adjoining the Chateau de la Bordaisiere. The apartment was part of a 500 year old stables and building - tastefully appointed, comfortable and large ! It felt like home rather than a holiday location. The grounds had rustic charm and there was a large pool. The hosts were outstanding. They gave us brilliant local advice, were always available and were great people to have met. This place deserves an 11 out of 10 !

Annie has created a lovely, quiet and characterful place to stay with a fantastic pool.

Beautiful renovation of the stables and pigeon-loft of a chateau. Calm, clean and with a fantastic pool! This is a great location for exploring the Loire region, walks, river trips, bike rides, the chateaux. The owners are lovely and gave very good advice on places to visit, including the chateau next door which has good walks and makes beer from home-grown tomatoes and basil (much nicer than it sounds!). It is not a central tourist spot, the town was quiet as the residents were also on holiday but Tours is nearby.

The nearest shops (for breakfast croissants) require a drive/bike ride/30 min walk each way it is a rural location. The beds are quite firm, other than that this is a really lovely place to stay, I would recommend it!

Pleasant stay near the Loire Chateaux

The location is excellent as there is easy access to the chateaux, some fun things to do on the Loire and lots of great activities a short drive away - the pool is lovely and opened from dawn to dusk.

We really struggled with the heat in the room (no air con because of covid but no fan , so really, really difficult to sleep - you can hear everything from one room to another so not good for light sleepers ....and many mosquitoes. We felt that the rules of the house could also be more relaxed at times.

Parfait pour visiter la région..

Le gîte est bien situé, au calme, facile à trouver ... Et malgré tout proche de la ville de Tours. Parking privé Le logement est propre, bien équipé, spacieux et très bien décoré... Il y a tout le nécessaire pour quelques jours en famille.. Les lits sont confortables et chaque chambre dispose de sa salle de bain... Vraiment top... Les photos correspondent bien au logement

Chouette séjour à Montlouis

Appartement très confortable, le salon dans un ancien pigeonnier est très joli. L’accueil s’est fait par téléphone, mais sans aucun problème et de manière sympathique. Les deux chambres sont spacieuses, chacune équipée d’une salle de bain, ce qui est très agréables quand on voyage entre amis ! Je recommande sans réserve.

Mansion ammodernata, cucina dotata di tutti gli utensili, bagno spazioso, letto molto comodo. Il proprietario molto gentile e accogliente. È stato molto comodo avere la lavanderia a disposizione. Parcheggio interno molto pratico

È stato tutto molto bello, un piccolo appunto: in stagione fredda magari meglio far trovare la casa calda, noi siamo arrivati la sera e la casa ci ha impiegato un po’ a riscaldarsi

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in dem Teil des Loiretals, das Weltkulturerbe mit den vielen sehenswerten Schlössern ist.

Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr gut unterhalten. Die Unterkunft war sehr gut ausgestattet und äußerst sauber.

Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren.

Schöne Ferienwohnung und einmal wieder Brot und Käse essen.

Schöne Ferienwohnung für zwei Personen in einem historischen Gebäude. Fotos wirklichkeitsgetreu. Lage am Rand von Montlouis sehr gut geeignet für Radtouren an Loire und Cher (z.B. nach Tours, Amboise, Chenonceaux). Stellplätze für Auto und Fahrräder im umschlossenen Hof bzw. Nebengebäude. Die freundlichen Vermieter geben Hinweise zu Restaurants. Wir fanden Le Berlot (am neugestalteten Platz gegenüber der Mairie) sehr empfehlenswert.

Montag und Dienstag erwiesen sich als die generellen Ruhetage der Montlouiser Gastronomie. Wer abends nicht mehr wegfahren mag, sollte einkaufen und die gute Küchenausstattung nutzen.

Különleges helyszín, szép kisvárosban, és rendkívül kedves házigazdákkal. Nagyon jól esett, hogy a nyelvi nehézségek ellenére érdeklődtek irántunk (honnan jöttünk), és sok jó tájékoztatást adtak a látnivalókról. Ez nem hétköznapi! Tágasak, kellemesek voltak a lakrészek.

Superbe séjour en Touraine

Superbe séjour dans un gîte très confortable , deux belles chambres , petite cuisine mais bien équipée et quel calme !! On peut s’installer au bord de la piscine pour l’apéro, un petit plongeon fait du bien quand il fait chaud 🤩 Les propriétaires sont charmants , très a l’écoute et aiment partager leurs bons trucs et les petits restos sympas du coin . Je recommande
