Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Mikail was a superb, responsive host!

The apartment was beautiful with many nice touches - well-stocked kitchen, lovely balcony, washer & dryer available in the building. The location was very convenient between Zugspitze and downtown GaPa.

What appeared to be the master bedroom with the en suite bathroom wasn't as luxurious as the 2nd bedroom with a balcony that had a separate master bath with a double sink, jacuzzi tub, and larger shower.

A most enjoyable 3-night stay near the Zugspitze, in a fantastic apartment!

Wood&Stone Alpi is a modern and spacious 3-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment, with a stunning view of the mountains (also from the beautiful balcony), located in a quiet neighbourhood of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, a perfect location for both relaxation and a starting point for exploring the area near the Zugspitze. The host, even though we haven't met him, was very informative and cooperative (via WhatsApp). We enjoyed the basic complimentary supplies, including the useful laundry machine and dryer. The apartment is perfect for up to 3 couples or a family of 4.

What dreams are made of!

Everything! This place is perfect! Clean, convenient, beautiful, views, amazing hostess and the details are to die for. I’m mad we didn’t stay longer! Also, not smart to book the most perfect place for the first days of vacation. Hard to be happy with other airbnbs 😭 I want this one back!! Thank you for everything! We already want to come back for a ski trip.

Modern, extremely well appointed, very clean, very comfortable. Amazing views right outside the living room window, from the terrace, etc. Responsive host any time we had a question. Our family of 4 had a great stay.

A vacation we will never forget!!

Everything was perfect at our stay at Wood & Stone! Breathtaking and beautiful views of the Zugspitze from the balcony and large living area windows. Apartment super clean with everything provided for meal preparations. The beds were super comfy and closet space sufficient. Location to Lake Risersee, Lake Eibsee, Zugspitze, and surrounding attractions were all near the apartment. Restaurant Brauwastl was a 2 minute walk from the apartment with wonderful Bavarian food and beer. Bakery right across the street was wonderful with many cakes and pastries. Grocery shopping within minutes. Our host, Mikael, was great. He explained everything to us about the apartment that we needed to know. Communication was stress free and easy. We have toured Garmisch for many years, and this was the most outstanding place we have ever stayed at.

Perfect stay for larger group/family!

It was perfect for our family of 6 with three queen beds and 2 1/2 baths. There is reserved parking, storage for ski equipment and multiple washing machines and dryers available in the basement for use.

Fantastic place with amazing views!

Mikael was phenomenal to work with and the house was amazing! Perfect location and the amenities in the house were very high end. The wrap around porch was incredible. The only recommendation I would make it to have a fan in the house during the summer months.

Each room needs a fan in the summer. It got a little muggy during the day.

Fantastic apartment and host

We absolutely loved our stay here for a week. The apartment is modern and comfortable and the view of the mountains and Zugspitz is breathtaking to wake up to every day. We really loved the wrap around balcony and the view. Despite being on a corner on the main road the traffic noise wasn't loud as the main balcony was at the back. There were 2 bathrooms and also an extra toilet, very comfortable for a large group. The spa bath was nice too. The kitchen was well equipped and the living space spacious and comfortable. Smart TV's in each bedroom was really great too. The location was great, a bakery, bike hire and a couple of restaurants nearby. Also walking and cycling tracks at the end of the street. Mikail was so lovely and helpful. He really genuinely wanted our stay to be fantastic and was very responsive to any questions. He helped to get a fan for my Mum, helped to set up one of the TV's and brought a fresh change of towels for us. We loved our stay here in Garmische.

Fans could be helpful in the summer to offer to guests as an option that is available. It was warm at night for our stay and this would make things more comfortable. I noticed other apartments also had fans delivered to them. That's my only suggestion for this apartment. Or get ceiling fans.

A first-rate modern apartment with terrific amenities and world-class Alpine views.

The host met us on arrival to provide keys and useful information. The views from the balcony were superb. The facilities were very modern and very comfortable. Easy walk to nearby bakeries and restaurants.

A bit from from the city center, but we knew that when we booked. Still, the neighborhood was nice, so some days instead of driving to city center we ate at local cafes and restaurants. We could also easily walk to several walking trails.

Het was in een woord WAUW. Alles klopte. Ontvangst was top. Lokatie was top. Appartement was schoon, mooi en ruim. Het balkon rondom was ideaal. Hele dag een lekker zonnetje en het mooiste uitzicht. Een week genoten van dit prachtige appartement. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug.
