The Apartments - Vatican

The location was close to the Vatican (10 minute walk), and easy to connect to all the other areas of Rome through a quick bus ride. Bus stops and subway stop very close to the apartment. The beds were very comfortable, and overall the experience in this apartment was excellent for the price. Would definitely stay again.

The place was spacious and clean. It has a running AC which was a plus during summer time in Rome. The location was perfect walking distance to Vatican and metro- but a bit far from the center in Rome.

The first night went we went to the apartment. We arrived almost 3.00 am and wasn’t told that the entry way was located on another street and not where the building number was located. We rang the room number given and the phone was answered by a very annoyed person who threatened to call the police on us. Also, when we were finally able to get into the apartment, the power went off about 20 minutes after we arrived so we had no lights nor air conditioning. No one responded to our calls or message, and the power wasn’t turned back in until midday leaving us in the dark, got apartment on our first night; it was very dark and uncomfortably hot. The apartment also had mosquitoes flying around and the electric power kept tripping so they came and disconnected the refrigerator, so we didn’t have a freezer for the entire stay.
