Hotel Central Palace

The location was amazing as it’s on a street filled with shops and vendors but it’s very quiet within your own room. Abdul was an amazing receptionist as he accommodated all our requests about printing boarding passes, leaving luggage after check-out, and also aided us with a lay of the land (including places where to go and not to go). The terrace area is very well set up as well, we had many meals up there and it is not as loud as you’d think even at night. The room was very comfortable with A/C and came with two towels. There were no noise issues either.

The only minor issue was in our bathroom. The door didn’t have a lock from the inside but I’d like to stress that this was a very small issue for us, as we propped a few bottles of water to close it. The bathroom could also use a small handheld wiper to clean off the water off the floor.

Had a great stay here, got a lovely room with everything we needed including aircon and bathroom, and a beautiful rooftop terrace and interior courtyard to hang out in the evening. Perfectly placed within 5 mins walk from central marketplace, mosque and restaurant. Thanks to abdul who was cordial and very helpful with anything we wanted to know while giving us direct advice and honest recommendations without trying to push any places on us. Service is appreciated.

Some parts could use a renovation, but not a big problem :) Better for shorter stays

Amazing location super close to the square, beautiful rooftop and courtyard inside.

Rooms are pretty basic and ours was a bit mouldy, the bathroom was simple and small, the shower was in the same room as the toilet. Fine for a night or two if you’re looking for something cheap and simple in the centre.
