Not worth the money, poor communication, outrageously expensive shuttle to airport

It was relatively clean, with the exception of some mold in the master bathroom shower.

Communication was poor. Listing didn't have the right phone number. My questions weren't answered, and i was worried that I wouldn't hear from anyone and would have to urgently book another place. Location wasn't great, and the address on the listing brings you to a locked gate, rather than the proper way to enter. The shuttle service they offer to arrange is insanely expensive -- 40 euros for a 6 minute ride to the airport! It makes much more sense to just stay at a hotel that includes the shuttle service. Breakfast included was just some crappy prepackaged pastries.

I had 3 small problems 1. When I booked they didn't tell me that I would have to pay city tax in cash, I had to go to the bank and get cash, which cost me a lot because I am not from Italy 2. It was not possible to lock the bathroom the lock was broken 3. The air conditioner in the living room didn't work it was very hot there

Convenient for a short stay near the airport, but with room for improvement.

The property is very spacious and the kitchen is large. The staff was kind and patient. The location is close to the airport.

The area doesn’t feel pleasant to walk around, mainly suitable just for sleeping. The mattress was too soft and saggy. There wasn’t enough hot water. The balcony doors didn’t close properly, which felt a bit unsafe. A toaster was missing.

Loved everything for our Family of five with small children.

The host was very helpful because we had a late arrival and had to get the keys by midnight. Very spacious for family of five. Loved the heart shaped bathtub and the two balconies. Free breakfast is packaged muffins, pre packaged baked goods only. No elevator only stairs and we stayed on second floor, host was helpful with lifting luggage. We felt a safe and clean environment.

Host didn't give the right keys, we were locked out

We were locked out of the property, and the host was unresponsive. The set of keys he gave me did not include a key to the gate, meaning that we were locked out of the property when we returned after dinner. He never responded to calls that night, and never even bothered to apologize the next day. We had to climb over a gate (dangerous, illegal, and ruined our shoes) to get back into the property grounds to access the building. DO NOT STAY AT THIS AWFUL PROPERTY! We stayed here because it seemed close to the airport, and we had an early flight the next day. This was a mistake -- the taxi to/from the airport was still a set price of $35, so we might as well have stayed in downtown Rome. There is nothing interesting or charming about the neighborhood. The property itself was very large, and nice enough. The decor was a bit cheesy / old, and the beds not super comfy, but it was fine. Mostly you should avoid this place because of the extremely unhelpful host & bad location.

A place were to bring your family, worth at 100%

Clean, and very welcoming. Definitely a place to come back with family worth-only. Communication was fast with the host in charged! The photos don't match with the reality! Reality is actually much better! The candies, teas, small mix cakes, and the decorations with the towels were very welcoming, great ideia.

I'm not sure if it was broken/malfunction, or simply I didn't find how to open the water access to the toilet(it didn't have water at all), so I have to get water from the shower to throw into the toilet everytime of use.

Wonderful host, great location, warm and inviting apartment.

We were so thrilled to find some pre-packaged pastries and some juices for us for breakfast for the next morning. Our kids loved the treats. The pizza place across the street was delicious as well. The location in relation to FCO was fantastic - very easy to return the rental car and get to the airport for our early flight. The off street parking was actually in a gated lot and we felt very secure.

The location around the building was a little rough at first appearance, but we never felt unsafe at any point in our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We liked the quaint, warm feel of the inside space. Nice welcoming touches with snacks and drinks. We also liked the short walk to the canal and the restaurants nearby.

At first arrival, the neighborhood feels old and tired.. we were a little concerned by the appearance. However, we went out, walked to the canal, ate dinner and did enjoyed the community festival that was going on. Our initial uncertainties were overwhelmed by embracing the community and family run businesses. As a result, we experienced a “living community” of Italy vs “tourist Italy”.

overall nice property, good location

The location was very good. There is a lovely fruit/veggie market just below the apartment, and a minimarket next door. Across the street was a wonderful pizzeria - the Il Solito Posto 2. Also lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk, many along the Tiber. We visited the Ostia Antica (Parco Archeologico di Ostia Antica) with some well preserved architectural remains of early Roman harbor city.

The description on Booking.com states each bedroom has a Queen bed and a Twin bed - this is not correct and should be changed. The rooms had only a Queen bed in each, so we needed to use the sofa bed for the additional bed we wanted. Also the kitchen was not well equipped for cooking our own meals, but did have the basics.

Beautiful property

This is a lovely and well taken care of property. Very nicely decorated and furnished. There were snacks and non-alcoholic beverages laid out on the table as a welcome. Location was ok, We didn't see much to do in this area, but we were close to several restaurants that you can walk to and 15-20 minutes drive to the airport which was why we choose the property.

The only negative comment I can say about this location is if you are hoping for a nice warm breakfast or freshly prepared food you will need to go out. Packaged items were the only food items offered. There wasn't a coffee maker except for a stovetop moka pot for espresso.

Beautiful, clean apartment near airport. Easy check-in and out. Off street parking. The market attached to the building was a plus for supplies. Easy access to the Strada so travel to other parts of Rome if needed was easy if you had a car.

the apartment was very clean, spacious and it had juices, water, snacks and breakfast items available when we arrived. the owner was always available when needed and she was in communication when we arrived in Rome. it was one of the best places we stayed while in Rome. I would definitely stay at the Casa Vacanze again if I return to Rome.

Comodo con mezzi propri

Appartamento molto grande vicino al centro di Fiumicino. Tranquillo e comodo per chi viene in auto. Benché a due Km dall'areoporto non ci si arriva con i mezzi pubblici ma solo con taxi e navetta il cui costo a prescindere dalla lontananza dall'alloggio è stato di 35 euro, quindi 70 euro andata e ritorno.
