Location vs. Everything Else

The apartment is near the city center, you can walk to Liberty Square in 10 or so minutes. There is ample parking near the apartment, which is a big plus if you're driving there. The apartment has some decorations. The check-in process is quite straightforward. FInally, this is one of the more affordable accommodations in Timișoara.

The apartment is on the top floor of a building that isn't very well maintained. The corridor gave us a bit of a scare the first time we saw it. Once inside the apartment, the first thing we noticed was that there were no roll shutters on the windows which meant that the apartment was unpleasantly bright during the day. There were no chairs or benches in the apartment, other than the two small chairs on the balcony. The bed squeaked at the slightest movement and the sheets and covers were quite uncomfortable to the touch. Moreover, they felt even worse since it was extremely hot outside because the apartment doesn't seem to have any thermal insulation. The AC was available, but it barely did its job. As a side note, when the "air flow" option is turned on, the AC makes an annoying clicking sound every dozen seconds. There was some mold in the shower and on the shower curtain and the towels had an awkward smell. Don't expect to cook in the kitchen, it has just the basics. One of the hotplates was broken and there was no dish drainer. You can only open the central window on the balcony, but not fully unless you move the table. Even when fully open, it doesn't provide nearly enough flow to let some fresh air into the apartment. There was some mold at the bottom of the balcony windows. Overall, the apartment seems to be in desperate need of a massive makeover.

Clean, close to the city center. The owner is obviously an artist - you can see the signs all over the place. :-)

Good apartment!

We only had one night transiting Romania, the apartment was clean, well equipped and the owner was kind. You don't meet the owner but the cleaning lady who is a sweetheart and she shows you around. Close to the city center, shopping mall nearby, parking is in the back of the building but you are able to see the car from the window. It is a free for all, no parking space allocated, but we had no problems finding one. Wifi is super fast the bed is comfortable. Great price, great value. Nice hosts!

It is not about the apartment but the building is old and being at the 10th floor means that hot water comes after about 10 minutes. This was the only inconvenience.

Lovely stay

Everything! The apartment is nice, clean and well kept. It's located very centrally making attractions easily reachable. Communication with owner was great. Olympia the next door neighbour is also very sweet. Since my train was later then check out time, Olympia was kind enough to hold the luggage for me. So thumbs up for a lovely stay.

The host is amazing, the apartment is clean and spacious, close proximity to the city center and Lulius Mall, good connection via bus to all parts of the city. Lidl 2 min. walk as well as Mcdonald's.

clean, modern, proper apartment in an old panel house, nothing tells you from the outside how good and comfortable it is inside.

nothing that needs to be admitted except maybe hot water, you need to wait for like 3-5 minutes till it starts to go since the apartment is on the 10 floor of an old building :)

A nice stay

A comfortable one night stay. We arrived in the late evening and pickup was done from a neighbor. The apartment looks very nice with many facilities. We did not use many due to the lack of time. The view is very nice being at the last floor, not afraid, there is a good elevator available. I would come again if needed.

Cute apartment, lovely decorations, thoughtful details, cleanliness on point, hospitable and kind staff.

The fact that there was loud music coming from one of the neighboring apartments throughout the whole night. We tried banging at the wall to make them understand it was bothering us but it didn't work. I know this has nothing to do with the host, but maybe they can try and talk to their neighbors in future and warn them that this uncivilized behavior affects their guests and it might affect their business too.

Good value for the price!

The apartment is close to the city center. To reach the center, you must take any tram from the 700 Market tram station (Piata 700). Nearby the apartment, there is a Profi supermarket just around the corner. On the other side of the street, you have Mega Image (another supermarket), plus two more at the next intersection (Kaufland and Penny). The location is also a walking distance of the Iulius Mall shopping center and Iulius Town, both excellent areas to hang out, shop, or have a drink with friends. The apartment is on the 10th floor. Due to this, it can get boiling, but it has AC, which is very convenient. The building has an elevator, so it is easy to reach the apartment if you have luggage. The living room has a big flat TV screen, with a large variety of TV programs. We also found the bed to be very comfortable. The apartment is spotlessly clean, including the bathroom and kitchen. If you are planning to cook, I wouldn't recommend an extended stay as the kitchen is tiny, and there is no space for heavy cooking. Other than that, if you are using the kitchen only to heat some water for tea/coffee or just cut some vegetables, it is ok. The kitchen has silverware, some plates, and some dishes. There is no automatic coffee machine but a stovetop coffee maker which you can use to make an excellent and tasty traditional coffee. The kitchen also has a stove, but there is no oven. The bathroom had shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, and toilet paper provided by the host. There is no washing machine. A pleasant lady, who lives next door, handed us the keys. The host was also amiable and reachable all the time through Whatsapp.
