Apartments Center Bairro Alto

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The added bottle of wine was a wonderful touch.

The 3 flights of stairs was a challenge with suitcases.

The accommodation is bright, the beds really comfy, the bathroom clean, the shower was powerful. I was expecting the place to be noisy at night, but honestly it wasn't too bad. The stairs are steep, I'm 60 with a new hip and I managed perfectly well! Definitely would love to return!

Excellent news property and location

Very convenient location. Near the bars, but with the windows shut did not hear the noise. One of the property managers met us to show the room and give the code. Airport pickup was pre-arranged with a very knowledgable and kind local driver. Property managers were responsive via what's app.

One twin bed in bedroom had a wood beam across the middle leaving the person sleeping sinking on either side of it. Twin bed in main room was not comfortable. Mattress was overworn. Dent and marring in wall next to bed in bedroom. Closet sounded like screaching opening it from either side. Hot water lasted through only one shower. We did communicate with the property manager about this and was first told to wait 10 or so minutes for the next shower (didn't work and was inconvenient when getting ready to go out for 3 people). They did come to check to be sure the hot water heater was working which it was and were over all perplexed by our situation. I hypothesized on the final day that it is probably due to the shower head being a rain shower. It is large and pumps out a few gallons per minute, thus using all the hot water. This is not proven, but makes the most logical sense. I shared my thoughts with a property manager and recommended they warn the future guests. Shower had mold in the caulking.
