It was conveniently located right in the heart of Westport, and had a great kitchen and eating area.
The bunk beds were tiny. So small you couldn’t fit luggage underneath and you couldn’t sit up in bed. There was no boxes to lock your things in. The room was stuffy and incredibly hot. The showers only worked at scalding temperatures and stopped every 10 seconds. The communal area was separate from the sleeping area, such that you couldn’t access your food or the kitchen after 10pm, plus they didn’t unlock the common area kitchen until 8:45 one morning and I nearly missed my bus. There was also hardly ever anyone at reception - made it hard to check in or ask a question.
