Beautifully designed boutique hotel with a stunning view. Exceptionally kind staff, delicious and carefully prepared breakfast, dinner and drinks. The property itself is an oasis of calm and a perfect base to visit the Poul valley.

Location in the paul valley is absolutely breath taking. All the staff is incredibly nice and helpful and we felt right at home. We received tips for our hikes, taxi was arranged and the hotel dog joined us on 2 hikes which was really fun.
We had dinner here every night and each time was something different but equally amazing!
The bed was a bit small and on the harder side, the only small complaint we have.

Interesting location high up in the Paul Valley. Reached along a narrow path from the little plaza by the old water pump.
Lovely views.
Good location for walks.
Nice breakfast.
Filtered water available, so no need to keep buying plastic bottles.
Clean, simple room.
Sadly Belem seemed very grumpy while we were there. Clearly, from other reviews, this is not usually the case. We felt we tried to be friendly but it didn't work.
We got very fed up with other guests constantly smoking on the terrace right outside our door.
Evening meal expensive. (Definitely try the lovely, friendly restaurant straight across the road, run by a local family)
