Borgo Pio Passetto Papale

It was close to Vatican City and some great little shops and restaurants. RIONE XIV Bistrot and Borghiciana Pastificio Artigianale were great places to eat that were steps away. Rome’s water fountain across the way for some easy clean water. HEDERA for some great gelato to finish the evening.

We visited when it was really warm. The property was a bit warmer than we are used to to however I never asked or reached out to Federico about adjusting the temperature so that does not take away from our experience!

Zentrale Lage, alles fußläufig erreichbar, die Wohnung war schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber, die Kommunikation lief reibungslos und auch ein später Check-In war nach Absprache kein Problem.

Durch die zentrale Lage ist es in der Wohnung relativ lange laut. Das könnte ggfs ein Störfaktor für manche sein.

Locatie was geweldig: alles op loopafstand. Mooi in het middeleeuwse gedeelte van de stad. Voor minder mooi weer was de bushalte om de hoek. In het ruime appartement was alles aanwezig. Fijne douche.

The apartment was very cold upon arrival, not good for the first impression. There were no any instructions how to make it warm, ACs are not able to warm up the rooms. No direct connection to the host, only messaging via booking com - the first time ever in my experience of staying in the apartment when you are not in the connection to the host. No understanding how to act in case of emergency situations. Very noisy location and completely non sound proof windows - 24 (!) hrs a day there are different noises - from screaming drunk tourists to the street maintenance teams. No big problems during the day, but be prepared to wake up multiple times during every night. Late check in (from 3 pm) and early check out (no later than 10 am) - we felt ourselves like in France) I asked but got no acceptance from the host for the check out at least at 11 am( 250 euro per night for this option - is definitely not worth it.
