Old building in the historic centre of Turin. Perfect location. Lovely comfortable room and bathroom. Marco was very friendly and helpful with our requests.

It was a very nice hotel, tastefully decorated and in a very good area. Everything was within walking distance. The room was very spacious, more like an apartment. Marco was kind, considerate and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Nothing. It was perfect.

The room is amazing, with very old mosaic floors that give you the feeling of sleeping in a palace room. Beds were comfortable and location was excellent. Breakfast was simple (no hot dishes or eggs), with very good fresh pastries and great local cheese.

- Location was very good. Since weather in June was warm in the 90s even in the evening, the B&B’s central location near Torino’s main visiting sites made it possible for me to cool off and rest in between sightseeing. - Old but nice building felt well secured with 4 keys! - Updated Bathroom looked modern and had a bright light switch which helped making sure I looked my best before I went out. - There was a large desk for spreading work things. The B&B is a classic traditional B&B. It looks like an apartment that had converted its extra 3 bedrooms into guest rooms.

Upon arrival, Mr. Carlo processed my payment for 2 nights. Then I did not see him until the next morning at 8 am when breakfast time started. It was just prompt & dry check in. Not sure what the B&B posting means by warm welcome😆. 2. While his BF items were good offering all I needed (good salami & local hard cheese, good fresh croissants - the plain croissant is better; the filled croissants are sweeter than desirable for my preference), note that Mr. Carlo himself prepares and brings out your choice of coffee himself (probably from his kitchen’s coffee machine). So there is NO refill access. 3. Good to note that it is really a B&B. It feels like you are in someone’s home, rather than a “hotel” that can answer your assistance inquiries. NO reception available to assist you with questions. He did not reply when I emailed him to ask for a reliable local taxi number to drive me the next day to the nearby Porta Nuova train Station to board my train reservation for Milan Central Station. I made the mistake using FreeNow to reserve a taxi the evening before; while FreeNow confirmed my reservation, it failed to get me a taxi!! At the last minute, I scrambled to call the Torino local taxi number, which the B&B could have at least provided in the room “information folder.” 4. Due to the high temperatures, I went out around 7 pm before dark for dinner & a stroll. I did not like that the stairway & the inside entry area from the street to the locked building doors were NOT lit at all, making it difficult to see the locks & how to open the latch. IN SUM: Carlo Alberto B&B was ok for 2 nights, the daily room rate I got probably reflected the B&B limitations which I did not realize until I was there.
