Perfect get away would definitely stay again.

Location was spot on and curb appeal. Tidy, clean and well maintained. Very comfortable, very clean. Parking on site the flat was well equipped has everything you need. We stayed in crows nest so had a lovely sea view. Comfortable bed slept like a log nice quiet road.

Cosy and comfortable home by the sea

The location was ideal. Very close to Shanklin Old Village and all the amenities and attractions. Beach was 15 minute walk or could go via Shanklin Chine. Town is also around 15 minutes walk or a few minutes driving. The owners were friendly, helpful and accomodating and ensured there was a warm welcome (as well as the lovely pastries and bread as we left). Although the property is relatively small overall, the bedroom is a good size with a massive bed. The kitchen is well-appointed. It's ideal for one or two people, who plan to spend more time out than in the accomodation.

This is a great property, so these are observations, not criticisms. The seating area was smaller than expected, but it was comfortable. The property is within the building complex, so doesn't have a view. We also had to draw the door curtain to ensure privacy from other guests walking by who'd look through the window. The audio on the TV in the lounge area wasn't great.

Fabulous self contained villas, in a great location and lovely hosts.

We booked a 3-night stay in The Burrow, just my husband and me, and from the moment we arrived we knew we’d chosen well. We were able to check in early, the host greeted us warmly, and the room itself was perfect — cosy, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need. There was even fresh milk waiting in the fridge, which was such a lovely touch. The Burrow has its own little private outdoor area, and right opposite the front door is the utility room, its shelves lined with DVDs. It may sound old-school, but there’s something wonderfully nostalgic about picking a film and watching it without the endless on-demand scrolling we’re all used to. It felt like a mini digital detox in the best way. There’s an onsite pool, which we happily made use of, and BBQ facilities too — we’ll be trying those on our next visit. The villas are in a fantastic location, within easy walking distance of Shanklin Chine, local pubs, and even a live music venue, which adds to the charm of the area. During our stay the hosts surprised us with complementary locally made bread (delicious!) and cake — such thoughtful gestures that really made it feel special. This is a wonderful place to stay if you enjoy having your own self-contained space with all the comforts you could want. We’ll definitely be back.

Brilliant apartment, super location and great host. Couldn’t ask for more

Lovely property, with everything we needed for a weekend away. Great location, we’d have loved to have stayed longer. Fabulous walks from the door and a fantastic host who was very easy to communicate with, accommodating to our needs, and left us to it. Highly recommend and we’ll be back.

An excellent apartment in a lovely setting. Very very well equipped. Lovely hosts.

Breakfast was not included in the price. but one morning our hosts brought us bread and cakes they had bought at a local bakery.....very nice gesture.

The TV and video unit not easy to navigate. The settee in the lounge area not 100% comfortable.

Our stay was absolutely perfect, and it’s all thanks to our incredible hosts, Chris and Kate. From the very start, they were so supportive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and felt completely at home. The sweetest surprise was the cake they gave for my friend on her birthday — such a thoughtful gesture that truly touched our hearts and made the trip extra special. Their home is beautiful, spotless, and so well cared for. The pool was an absolute highlight — clean, inviting, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We also loved the BBQ setup; it made our hangout so cozy and memorable. This was more than just a place to stay — it felt like we were truly welcomed and cared for every step of the way. We left with full hearts and so many happy memories. We can’t recommend this place enough and would love to come back one day!

Very comfortable stay nice hosts

Good location, parking space provided, easy to find location from the main road. Apartment had very good kitchen facilities, good quality furniture and comfortable beds. The Pool is in the garden and kept in good condition, with sun beds and table and chairs provided as well.

Slightly steep stairs to the top apartments, lighting inside was good but additional outside lighting towards the back entrance would be helpful at night. Recycling area could be better.

Perfect! Exceeded our expectations, would come back without hesitation!

The house is near a lovely sandy beach (Shanklin) and plenty of varied restaurants (Shanklin old village). We had a flat on the top floor in a nice and quiet area of the apartments. The flat was very well equipped, it seemed they had thought of everything we could need. the bed was comfortable and Chris and Kate could not be nicer or more welcoming! Chris even delivered bread and pastries on our first day, a lovely touch. Special mention goes to the lovely heated swimming pool in its own pretty, leafy and secluded part of the grounds, perfect!

A relaxing week away

Stayed in a lovely apartment which was very clean. It had a little kitchen too and was exactly what we needed for the week. Loved the swimming pool too which was also very clean and well looked after. The hosts were very kind and friendly and we would 100% recommend staying and would love to return one day.

A very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Hosts very welcoming, available and accommodating. Clean, comfortable and spacious apartment. We appreciated utility room, and range of DVDs, books and games for guests to enjoy. Lovely warm swimming pool in private garden.

Our apartment was up external steps and internal stairs, maybe a challenge if you have dodgy knees or trouble breathing.

Very pleasant, good location

Very well equipped kitchen, very clean and tidy in the apartment.

No easy visible notices directing you to the owners part of the complex. We did not get the name of the apartment so did not know where to park on arrival.

Loved the island fid not like the accommodation.

Bed only. The longe zbd kitchen area were good size.

The pillows were not comfy, the lighting was poor, thd bathroom was small,the loo was too near thd wsll had to sit at an angle on the loo. There was no bath mat and the bath towels were too small did not wrap around body. We were disappointed Ted on the second .morning to be woken at 6.45 am, men outside bedroom window talking znd making a noise, thought domeo e was trying to break in. Realised it was builders, they then climbed very noisily on the scaffolding and started work on the property exterior and were hammering away. This happened on the next morning too,we had no information from the host that this was going to happen. There is a Landlord Disrepair law that work should not commence until 8 am...this was disregarded, so will not book to go there again.

Great family half term trip

The apartment had everything we needed for a family with two small children, including a travel cot, and space for the kids to play. My four year old loved the pool and we liked that we could park right outside to easily head out on day trips. The beach nearby is lovely, and everything we wanted to do as a family was a short drive away.

Very comfortable stay

Clean, comfortable apartment, well equipped. Hosts went out of their way to greet us even though we arrived late thanks to amended ferry schedules and made the effort to give us some food to tide us over as we hadn't had dinner. Will definitely be back.

Comfortable stay

Chris, the new owner, was friendly and welcoming. The apartment has a nice spacious lounge to relax in and beds were comfortable. Location was good for the local beach. For some reason the owner took some time to respond to messages, but then sorted issues out promptly.

Just some small issues to sort. We had to find extra pots for cooking and the ensuite bathroom door didn't close properly. We couldn't get the TV to work. Sadly the pool is only open and heated in summer.

We loved having a pool, free parking easy access to Shanklin Village plus great walks with friends who live on the island. Amenity room with honest box to wash our clothes. Leaflets with info on things to do & visit on Island plus DVDs if you wanted to chill & stay in
