About this cottage rental
A charming home from home in the Shanklin area of the Isle of Wight, providing a fabulous retreat for a group of seven friends or a large family, boasting a charming patio garden and proximity to the beach and facilities. Head into Shanklin town centre, 0.5 miles away, with its Victorian architecture and beautiful beach, along with an abundance of shops and eateries. It is also home to the luscious Shanklin Chine, a ravine filled with waterfalls and footpaths. Enjoy a family day out at Wildheart Animal Sanctuary (4 miles) or Amazon World Zoo Park (4 miles). Take to the water on a kayak or stand-up paddleboard at Sandown (3 miles), another charming seaside town.
This lovely home is both stylish and characterful. The open-plan living space is bright and airy while still being cosy and welcoming. To one side, the practical kitchen has plenty of space for cooking up delicious meals, which you can tuck into around the dining table. Afterwards, retreat to the lounge, which has a beamed ceiling, a flame-effect electric fire, and plenty of sumptuous sofa space. Spend evenings with the dogs and family watching movies or playing games. When you are ready for some shuteye, climb the stairs to the first floor, where there are three bedrooms. Select from a double bedroom, a triple room comprising a double bed and a single bed, and a bunk bed room sleeping two. These bedrooms all share a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.
Take your meals or evening tipples outside to the private patio garden. This space is fully enclosed and is surrounded by luscious greenery. Private parking is available for one car.
