Amazing and so tranquil.

A very well presented and looked after flat with stunning views across the sea. It really felt so homely, making the stay so comfortable. Beautiful walks to be had on the doorstep.

Fantastic apartment

It was a fantastic view over the sea front and the sound of the sea was so relaxing there's a very nice pub/restaurant called the fisherman's In would highly recommended it

The hills only because me and my wife are disabled which means we have to get around public transport the main busses run regularly instead of getting the hills there's a lift from the beach front upto the shops in Shanklin

Perfect sea front , home from home

Perfect location on sea front close to bars and restaurants. It was-really well presented, had everything we wanted. A home from home . It was spotlessly clean and beds were really comfortable

The property is in an amazing location. We had a fantastic long weekend. We would certainly return.

Location is amazing. The view from the balcony is wonderful - a great place to sit and have your breakfast. The flat has a washing machine as well as a dishwasher which are really welcome.

They do need to provide some better pillows - they were like bricks!! The bathroom light flickered and the plug in the bath didn't keep the water in. bedding and towels need updating

Great location, lovely view of the sea, well appointed. Both rooms en-suite. Lovely little balcony overlooking the sea. All very cosy.

Difficult to find parking on the Saturday once we had moved the car in the morning. Required a couple of trips to move the car from time barred parking areas, although we did manage to find an alternative space .

Lovely beachside apartment, we found it to be a quiet location, close to local restaurants.

The location is perfect - the view from the little balcony is lovely at all times of the day, and it's just a short walk across the road to the beach. Although a parking spot is not provided we did not have an issue parking. Paid parking is available in the street or in the local car park.

There is no shop on Shanklin esplanade so just make sure you stock up on anything you need before you park up. Not a big deal - just be prepared :)

Fabulous

Everything was perfect, the apartment was spotless, and the view from the balcony overlooking the sea was lovely. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need to cook for yourself, with a full-size fridge freezer and dishwasher, it felt like home. If you prefer to eat out there are plenty of places to do so. The bedrooms were a good size with plenty of drawers and wardrobe space, and the beds were comfortable, the double room had an ensuite with a walk-in shower, and there was also a bathroom with a shower over the bath, both spotless. Everything about this apartment was wonderful it made our stay such a great experience. We will definitely return.

Liked it all but we suggest a bathroom two pin socket for shaving and toothbrush recharging. maybe improve the rear terrace so that it could be used for breakfast tea during the summer period. No on site parking.

Spacious comfortable apartment on shanklin seafront

The apartment location is very good, right by the beach. Only a problem if you have difficulty walking, as Shanklin shops and old town are a 20-minute walk up the cliff. Pubs and cafes are nearby, but not a shop. The apartment is very spacious and well provisioned and has a small balcony to sit out on to enjoy the view. Also, it is very close to Shanklin Chine. Pay once, and get 6 more 'free' entries.

The only thing missing was English instructions for the washing machine and instructions for the TV. This is probably not a problem for younger people, but is for us oldies!

A perfect clean, well equipped and ideally positioned Beachfront location.

The apartment was very clean, beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. The owners have really thought through what their guests may require to feel comfortable and at home. The balcony overlooking the Beach was amazing and we are already missing those views and the sound of the waves gently washing up on the sand. We didn't want to leave.

Exceptional

Tides Reach is in a fantastic location right on the Esplanade in beautiful Shanklin and the apartment has a balcony with a seaview. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds were really comfortable. There were some great restaurants and bars for food and drink right on our doorstep and we only had to cross the road for a swim or to hop on the Shanklin shuttle bus. Stan provided detailed instructions in advance on how to find the apartment and everything we needed to know for our stay. I would highly recommend Tides Reach and I will definitely be back.

Lovely and comfortable stay in Tides Reach on the Isle of Wight.

This property is in a superb location - beach right in front of the door, lovely view from the balcony of the beach, too. Restaurants and Shanklin Chine within walking distance and just a tiny bit further but still within walking distance Shanklin center, shops, lovely antique shops, too, train station, etc. The beach / cliff side is great for treasure searching of fossils and the likes, too. :) It was super-easy to pick up the key according to instructions - and to leave it right there again. No "in person" contact with the owners, but this way we could leave right away which was handy for us. We were in touch with the owners and received replies almost immediately - very helpful. The rooms were comfortable, lots of space and we found everything we needed. We'd definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately the dishwasher and the washing machine didn't work. We were informed about the dishwasher before we arrived and it didn't really matter to us - no problem. The washing machine was a bit more tricky for us - we got in touch with the owners and they were very sorry. They hadn't been informed about the washing machine not working as it hadn't been checked before our arrival and it seems to have been a problem of the electricity (same wall) - they had already informed someone to fix it but they were taking their time to get back to them. So this problem couldn't be solved during our stay. It was a pity, but clearly not the owners' fault. So we solved it by handwashing our clothes.

Can't beat it! The apartment is stunning as is the location. Beautiful furnishings and very well equipped. Excellent value. We had an issue unconnected with the flat or our booking and the host was amazing. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.

The location was amazing! Think I picked the best spot on the Island as I thought a lot of the Island needed some TLC. Which is like a lot of places after lockdown.
