About this cottage rental
Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the bustling seaside resort of Shanklin, this fantastic family accommodation is ideally located for exploring all the wonderful sights and attractions on offer on the Isle of Wight. Park the car up at the house and enjoy a wonderful selection of restaurants and cafes along the esplanade within 0.5 miles of the house. Enjoy a day or two out on Shanklin Beach, it’s one of the best-known stretches of beaches on the island. There is something for everyone on the island, from a day out at the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary (3 miles) to walking with a fantastic coastal path to discover.
Enter this accommodation into the welcoming hallway. The open-plan lounge/diner with Smart TV/DVD is the first room you will find, there is a table and chairs with enough seating for the whole group to gather around with patio doors leading out to the garden, a great place to enjoy that indoor/outdoor living. Head through into the well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and a separate WC completes this level. Head up to the first floor where all three bedrooms are located: the main bedroom with a king-size bed, the second bedroom has twin beds, with the final bedroom featuring a double bed. The shower room with shower and WC complete this level.
There is off-road parking at the front of the house available for one small/medium car on the narrow driveway. There is also a pay and display car park within walking distance of the house where tourist permits can be purchased. The rear enclosed garden is a well-maintained area with a patio benefitting from outdoor furniture and an artificial lawn which makes this a wonderful space to sit out and enjoy the climate of the south coast.
