I would definitely stay again.

The "room" I booked was in actual fact an apartment! Downstairs was the bedroom with a comfortable bed and pillows and the there was what looked like a jacuzzi - I didn't try it! 😀 Upstairs was a TV and a couch and a fully equipped kitchen. Coffee, tea bags and sugar was provided The whole place looked new and well looked after.

"didn't like" might be a bit strong but it would have been nice to get a snack. But, to be fair, it is self-catering so i should have planned that aspect better.

Beautiful location, great food, comfortable apartment for a family stay!

The staff were very accommodating with our check-in because we got in later than expected. They showed us to the apartment and made sure to show us what everything we needed to know for a comfortable stay. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and had breakfast and lunch at the property. Everything was fantastic and we’d happily stay here again!

It would have been great if they had clubs to borrow/ rent to play a round or even just to go out on the driving range or putting green for a little bit.

We liked the location . Bedrooms were clean..carpets jad many stains.

The fold out bed in the kitchen was really old and flaking . Really not suitable for a fold out bed so we all squashed into the upstairs beds. .

Everything was perfect

Nice and very comfortable accommodation in the golf club. The house is very nice and spacious with 2 beedrooms, kitchen, hall and one complete bathroom. And include a nice garden in the back side. The golf club is very very nice and awesome.

The lodge was wonderful, the grounds were beautiful, going off season was amazing it felt like we had the place to ourselves. I hr from Dublin Airport-ideal after a long flight.

My wife and I were traveling with our dog, and unfortunately, we didn’t select the right option for dog-friendly accommodations. The very kind receptionist informed us that it wouldn’t be a problem, as they had a dog-friendly accommodation available. He upgraded us without charging anything extra. Family and comfortable atmosphere.

Staff were lovely in the lodges and at the golf club house where we went for dinner

The bedroom with the double bed in it is tiny, it shoukd have a single bed in it only, and the room with the twin beds shoukd be the master room with the double bed. The 2x2 leather couches were extremely uncomfortable, as they were small and the armrests were very hard as you are squashed against them with 2 people on each. Condidering it's self catering there were no utensils. ie fish slice for frying eggs, wooden spoons, potatoe masher, soup ladles, apart from knives, spoons, forks and a tin opener there was no other utensils. No tea pot, coffee pot. No clothes for cleaning counters etc and only 1 tea towel . It was extremely basic accomadation accomadation, and in need of touch up painting

Was no clean. Stale smell of smoke in the house. Walls in bad need of a repaint. Floor and stairs had not been hoovered. Disappointing overall for the cost.

For €200 we could have stayed at a 4 or 5 star hotel. This was more like a 2 - 3 star room.

The room was very basic with few fittings. E.g., the bathroom was very basic with limited space to store towels, no fitting for toilet paper!!, everything seemed so sparse.

Lovely Stay

Friendly staff, lovely quiet location. lodges are very big. This place has excellent potential.

Only fault was food was only served till 6.45pm. It was a little early for us to eat, we would have loved to stayed and eaten here. Had to travel to nearby village for dinner. But it was only a 7 min drive.

Stunning property! We visited in a group of family for a birthday and we had a gorgeous traditional lunch and the breakfast is lovely too! Stunning surroundings! Staff are amazing, friendly and efficient! Houses are perfect aswell, so spacious for a little night with friends!

Excellent location and facilities. The apartment was big and bright, very clean, with private patio and dog friendly. We dined in the restaurant in the main house and food was very good, staff was lovely too. Nearby village only few min drive away, lovely walks in the area.

A missed opportunity

There was a lot of space and the apartment was warm and quiet.

There were no facilities available in the hotel and surrounds. There are no staff on site. The apartment was very bare with limited furnishings. There was a lack of pillows and those provided were very poor. There was very poor water pressure in the taps. Very limited cups and crockery. The apartment was very dark with limited light. Very expensive for such a remote area with no facilities. This place has so much potential but would not stay again unless there's a significant improvement or change of management.
