Apartment was newly remodeled and had everything we needed. The view was great and we loved sitting on the terrace for coffee in morning and wine for sunset. Hosts were very nice and helpful.
The climb up the hill takes a little effort but the payoff js worth it. The hosts have access to an elevator in nearby hotel to get your bags in and out. Really, don’t let it deter you. The location is so much better than a small hotel room.

Ganz tolle Lage, etwas oberhalb von Zermatt, aber immer noch gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Eine schöne Terrasse mit Aussicht auf den Ort und nach rechts konnte man das Matterhorn sehen. Ein modernes Bad mit guter Dusche. Nette Vermieter und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten den Lift vom benachbarten Hotel nutzen, um unsere schweren Reisetaschen zu transportieren.
Die Matratzen waren sehr weich (geschmacksache, wir mögen lieber harte Matratzen). Aber, die Lattenroste waren durchgelegen. Das war den Vermietern wohl bekannt, wurde aber noch nicht behoben. So mussten wir eine Wolldecke unter die Matratze legen, damit wir gerade liegen. Der Vermieter will das jedoch zeitnah beheben. Einige Küchenutensilien waren sehr einfach (keine gute Qualität).

location is close to town but reaching the house is 5min steep uphill walk. Nice to be able to cook our owl meals. Host was helpful.
The beds and pillows are very soft so didn’t get the best sleep. Personall just really not a fan of dark brown bedsheets and dark grey towels as impossible to see if truly clean. The room has very low to the ceiling so feels a bit like a basement. The room could use some more lighting as it is fairly dark.
