First of all, we want to thank Thomas and Manuela for their hospitality. Chalet Kolibri is the ideal place for a peaceful holiday where you have absolutely everything you need! The cleanliness is top-notch, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and the Wi-Fi is excellent! There is a lovely terrace where you can dine and enjoy a glass of wine while admiring the beautiful Matterhorn!
There’s no such thing at Chalet Kolibri—except for the fact that we only stayed for 6 nights :)

Apartment was newly remodeled and had everything we needed. The view was great and we loved sitting on the terrace for coffee in morning and wine for sunset. Hosts were very nice and helpful.
The climb up the hill takes a little effort but the payoff js worth it. The hosts have access to an elevator in nearby hotel to get your bags in and out. Really, don’t let it deter you. The location is so much better than a small hotel room.

location is close to town but reaching the house is 5min steep uphill walk.
Nice to be able to cook our owl meals.
Host was helpful.
The beds and pillows are very soft so didn’t get the best sleep. Personall just really not a fan of dark brown bedsheets and dark grey towels as impossible to see if truly clean.
The room has very low to the ceiling so feels a bit like a basement. The room could use some more lighting as it is fairly dark.
