Located next to the Greyhound Bus Station so that was our first clue. They only have valet parking at this place and charge $48 per night. This extra charge was no where to be found when we booked so it came as a surprise to us.
Upon arrival we were exhausted and were given keys to a room that hadn't been cleaned at all and the maid service was entering the room to begin cleaning as we got to it so we had to go back down to the front desk (with all our luggage) in tow and request a different room. Rooms are on the small side but were clean. Stayed 3 days and only got fresh towels 1 of the 3 days. The walls between rooms are very thin, you can hear next door neighbord bathroom activities. The daily breakfast was not what we expected at all for Marriott. You can select only 1 item from a menu board then wait to let the front desk know, they then hqve to walk your order over to their bar POS machine and enter it. The kitchen then prepares your 1 item (biscuit sandwich only) and when done they call out your name for pickup. I was totally shocked at how they do this here. Location is good but we would stay somewhere else the next time visiting Savannah, GA. Sorry Marriott but this is my honest opinion and actual experience at this property.
