Absolutely would recommend if you want to stay in a car free, central location in Como

The place was in a beautiful area and relatively close to the parking lot. It was easy to get the key and was inside a safe, gated court. The host was super responsive and helpful in many ways. The rooms were beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay there.

The only small thing I would comment is that the fold out couch was pretty squeaky so if you're sleeping with someone and sensitive to noise it's not very good.

Lovely location with superb facilities. All the small details were greatly appreciated! Even down to having a diffuser for the hairdryer! Amazing value for money and a lovely location in Como. Just a 5 mins walk to the lake front

Perfect!

Location was perfect, bed was really comfortable, shower facilities were great, plenty of hot water, peaceful and quiet even though centrally located, very near to train station and ferry port, walking distance to everything, Como itself was wonderful with plenty of choices for dining out and choice of foods. Loved it all!

Nothing! If I could have had one choice, it would be that the TV had smart TV app access to watch netflix on a stormy day when we decided to stay in and relax in the apartment. But that is in no way a criticism, as the place was pretty perfect for our weekend away in Como!

Bucket List trip - expensive, so be prepared. Lovely environment and people.

We liked the position of the apartment and its accessibility to Como main town. The area was relatively quiet and peaceful even though it was central. Access to all the shops was great, particularly access to food shopping and restaurants. Plenty of activities that we enjoyed and of course the transport by road, boat , train etc were what we expected. Having access to Lugano was a great asset. Walking and sightseeing was easy and relatively simple. The weather was particularly hot for June but all in all a special week. Our thanks to Emanuela and her staff for their work and support.

The cost of everything is over inflated- a pizza meal at €67 is way too high. Every main restaurant seems to want to fleece you of your money - extras like bread/ olives/ any additional side dish that is put on your table was charged and another € 20 euros suddenly disappeared from your wallet/ budget. If there was an attempt to tell you then perhaps this injustice could have been better expressed but very annoying and expensive. We found the back street bars and restaurants less prone to this action and spent our money with them instead. A restaurant made a mistake and forgot about our order for over an hour - we waited and whilst they have us one free dessert and a limoncello we were disappointed . Finally the ferry system doesn’t allow flexibility or indeed organisation without patience or cost. It needs a complete overhaul - the system and model. However once on a ferry and away from the queues you were transported temporarily and physically by the staff- could be so much better.

Great host, location and value for money.

Emanuela sent us the exact location and waited for us at the entrance where she welcomed us and explained us how the key works and how to get into the apartment. The apartment has everything you could need for your stay including a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Emanuela also gave us a map of the area and gave us insider tips on which towns to visit and which restaurants she recommends.

On Google Maps the location of the apartment is wrong.

Good location and very helpful host!

The apartments location was great! The owner was very friendly and helpful. She also helped with the parking. There was no breakfast. The location was surrounded by different restoraunts and cafes.

One of the TV remotes wasnt working properly. On the photos the apartment looked in a better condition.

I would not stay there again nor recommend the host.

The host is very condescending and rude. The check-in instruction very unprofessional and messy. The property is different than on pictures: it is very dark, loud, depressing and deco/appliances are from 90s or older. The bed is super short (180 cm length). Also the description of the property is misleading regarding the parking, there is NO parking attached to it.

An excellent stay in a beautiful little city.

Emanuella was an excellent host. She met me at the entrance and accompanied me to the apartment. She gave me lots of info about Lake Como and the towns all around. She also gave me practical advice about taxis and where I could buy some electronic equipment I needed in town. She's very nice and very helpful. The apartment is right in the heart of Old Town very close to the lake. You can walk to the train station, to the lake, and of course you have Old Town all around. It's an excellent location.

This apartment is overpriced.

The location of the property was ideal. It is a short walk to the ferry and the train station. The train station (Como San Giovanni can be reached by taxi or by local bus). Shops supermarkets and the city centre are close by and a pleasant walk exploring the city of Como. The apartment has limited cooking facilities.

Noise noise and noise. There is a restaurant underneath the apartment which renders sleep virtually impossible and the locals walk along this street as a thoroughfare. Sound is amplified greatly. Further the windows have timber shutters in the open position that are fixed to the wall making the room bathed in light. Owner was contacted to help close the shutter but no response. Messaging through booking .com were answered two days later, which was our last day at the property. We had to ask for more coffee pods and laundry tabs as the apartment had only one upon arrival. this was pointed out and coffee pods arrived immediately however no laundry tablets. Was it worth the money? No it wasn’t. I dare to ask booking .com what sort of inspections are carried out for these style of accommodations to accepted on their platform. A charge if 40€ for cleaning is a bit over the top as all of the above mention would have been addressed I would stay again? No!

Fantastically located, comfortable apartment

Spacious first floor one bedroom apartment, good layout, with a corridor between bedroom and living room. Nicely decorated with original features, including shuttered windows. Well equipped kitchen and large TV. Fantastic location in heart of Como, which although right by shops, bars and restaurants was very quiet. Check-in very easy and host super friendly and helpful.

There was only one mug, the rest of the tea cups were tiny.
