Large tatami area was roomy and very nice. The room we stayed had view of the Mt. Fuji. The Hotel is located by the lake. When I called the hotel asking for a shuttle van, it was after the train arrived at 5 pm. We waited about 5 min or so before the shuttle van arrived. The driver was very helpful loading our suite cases and 2 strollers. The large bath tub in the women's large bathroom is the highlight of my stay. The yukata and bed linen provided were starched and gave exceptionally clean impressions. The facility would be great for groups of young people.

I don't have any "dislike" about the hotel. It is an older facility, which is as I expected. Since the visit was during the very hot weather, wearing the starched yukata didn't give me breathing feel after hot bath. The air conditioner works great for average Japanese likings and does not cool down to 65 degrees (at home we cool down the room for sleep). I suspect the very hot summer weather outside affected the effectiveness of the air conditioner to cool the room for my stay.

Everything was great! Shuttle was a bonus!

The hotel is located right on Lake Kawaguchiko, and I had a great view of Mount Fuji from my room! There is also a van transfer to/from Kawaguchiko Station during specified times.

The hotel needs some major renovation and proper cleaning. The beds weren’t comfortable, and I didn’t feel as if the bathroom was thoroughly cleaned. While some staff were very welcoming and friendly, others were quite cold.
